Orthodox: Strict adherence to Torah and Mitzvot

Oy: Yiddish expression expressing surprise, astonishment, disgust, pain... Oy is an expletive, an expression of protest, dismay, delight

Oy Vay! (lit., oh, pain) A multi-use exclamation ranging in expression from delight to grief.
