Dear Ones Yitzchok Instructed his son Yaakov /Jacob to go

Bereisheit 28.1

And Isaac called Jacob, and blessed him, and charged him, and said to him, You shall not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan. Arise, go to Padan-Aram, to the house of Bethuel your mother's father; and take a wife from there of the daughters of Laban your mother's brother. And God Almighty bless you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, that you may be a multitude of people; And give the blessing of Abraham to you, and to your seed with you; that you may inherit the land where you are a stranger, which God gave to Abraham. And Isaac sent away Jacob; and he went to Padan-Aram to Laban, son of Bethuel the Aramean, the brother of Rebekah, Jacob's and Esau's mother.

Yaakov was 63 years of age when he was sent away to take a wife by his Father, Yitzchok.  Part of taking a wife is preparing for marriage. Yaakov went to the Academy of Shem and Evier to prepare for marriage, and to learn about being a good husband. He prepared himself for 14 years.  Chapter 29 begins when Yaakov is 77 years old.  He has completed his studies and is now prepared for marriage.

Bereisheit 29.1
Then Jacob went on his journey, and came to the land of the people of the east.

Blessings, Love and Peace,
