This Devri Torah Limood is in the loving memory of Joyce Duff bat Na'amah, Carrie bat Brachah Rivkah, Martha bat Sarah, Sharon bat Vivian, Sarah bat Chavah, Jeanne C. W. Pierre, Joseph Adam Pierre, Louella P. Bienvenu, Barbara Pierre and Terrill B. Thomas Ethel Channah bat Channah, George ben Idah, Donald ben Channah, Gary Lee ben Channah Yochanan ben Chavah and Stephen ben Martha, may they rest in peace.

Dear Ones please remember that each of us are from the family of Adam Ha Reshon and Chavah Reshonah, Adam and Eve.  Each of us are descendants of Noach and Na'amah.  Even those who maybe descendant from Cham who was cursed that curse has long passed.

What is the point?  Everyone is important!!  We have the power to elevate ourself through Ha Torah.  It is observance of Ha Torah that unites our soul with the family of Yaakov.

Bereisheit / Genesis 46.6,7

Bereisheit / Genesis 46.6,7

And they took their cattle, and their goods, which they had gained in the land of Canaan, and came to Egypt, Jacob, and all his seed with him;

His sons, and his grandsons with him, his daughters, and his sons' daughters, and all his seed brought he with him to Egypt.

Bereisheit / Genesis 46.27

Bereisheit / Genesis 46.27

And the sons of Joseph, who were born to him in Egypt, were two soul; all the soul of the house of Jacob, who came to Egypt, were seventy.

BaMidbar / Numbers 14.18

The Lord is long suffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generation.

'If the Jewish people would only observe two Sabbaths according to their law, they would be redeemed immediately.' Quote from the Talmud is from Sabbath 118b

May we work together to encourage Jewish Sabbath Observance.  May we each do our part.

Blessings, Love, and peace,

Dr. Akiva Gamliel
