Dear Ones over the years through thousands upon thousands of hours of study many very special Gematrias have been revealed to me over the decades. With the assistance of those who dearly love our Creator, I have compiled a number of gematries through the first 11 chapters of Exodus (& Genesis also). God Willing other books will be following...

What is Gematria? Gematria is a ancient study process used in interpretation of the Hebrew Scriptures by computing and comparing the number values of a Letter, a Word or a group of Words and their relationships. Gematria is a Greek word that has come to be recognized as the study of Hebrew Letters, Numbers, Words and Phrases  in The Torah.

This is the SECOND in a series of Five Books, God Willing.

Gematria is a unique beautiful key that when properly used can open doors to what is intentionally hidden in The Torah. Gematria is a form of Kabbalah, i.e Jewish Mysticism that allows some access to portions of the Scriptures we would like to know more about. Through diligent study and application of Gematria we are able to go deeper in to the hidden learn and more of what there is to discover about God, Angels, Humankind, Creation and much more. In this book we weave back and forth through the pages of the Torah exploring how to have a tranquil life.  The flood in Noahs age was not tranquil but it teaches us about tranquility. The world that then was not tranquil but we can sift through the pages of Hebrew for unique discoveries.

The Bible is a Book of many mysteries for Christians, For Noachides and for Jews. Each will find my book to be exceptionally interesting as hidden truths are unwrapped and revealed for all to enjoy.

Within the Bible are the Five Books of Ha Torah, Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. The conundrum within Ha Torah is different than within the rest of the Bible. Why? Besides what is hidden in Ha Torah there many quandaries. Within Ha Torah there is a system of Hebrew Letters which each have a numerical value. The numerical values can reveal many interesting, perplexing, bewildering and mystifying relationships within the Hebrew Letters, Words, Phrases etc. of Ha Torah that I discuss in this book. Some call this numerology. Others call this Gematria. I call this a study of Oh Toht / Signs.

When in daily study of the Five Books over the past decades various Oh Toht / Signs were unveiled to me as well as to other scholars of much greater stature. It is a special honor to share some of these signs in this book after years of preparation.

A great deal of Oh Toht is about relationships. Hebrew Letters share ties with numbers that unveil many principled secrets if one knows what to look for. No matter how much information is known about certain Hebrew Word or numbers only a small portion is known in comparison to the entire picture. I have been gathering, compiling and organizing for many years kah nah nah haw raw. Many years can pass between one discovery to another which forms a bridge between two discoveries. Revelations are the product of many bridges. Enclosed in this book are some of these special relationships.

There is a special sweetness in sharing a Torah Gematria / Sign during a wonderful Shabbat or High Holy Day meal.

Exodus 6.2,3

And He, God Spoke to Moshe, and Said to him, I am the LORD;  And I appeared to Avraham, to Yitzchok, and to  Yaakov as El Shaddai / The Almighty and [by] My Name LORD I  was not known to them.

Noh Dah eih Tee

I  was not known to them.

נ50 ו6 ד4 ע70 ת400 י10 = 540

To Guard - To Keep

ש300 מ40 ר200 = 540

This is how we are to teach...

Deuteronomy 6.7

And you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.

Parents are reminded to nag their children. I say nag because if we spoke to are children as instructed to in Ha Torah some may consider us to be nagging them....

Think about it... I used the word nag to remind us we must be careful in our presentation.  Yet, three times everyday we are reminded to 'Diligently' speak to our children. Think about this dear ones... Even when we are diligent some of our children will not obey...

Our Sages Teach that only 1 / 4 of B'nai Yisroel came out of Mitzriam... They saw the miracles... They saw the Mighty hand of God... yet only 20 percent came out of Egypt...

We stood on har Sinai.  We saw the fire and the thunder.  We felt the ground shake.  We heard the Voice of God yet look at us...

Dear ones we are the kingdom of Priests. We are the chosen nation. We have the REVELATION.

Dear Ones, How does our Creator appear to us?  Do we know if our Creator appears to all humankind exactly the same? I think NOT!!

We each have a different revelation of the Creator. What are we doing with our revelation.

In the blink of an eye lash that can change!   It will change.

That day is not distant!!  Moshiach will usher in that day! The Creator will remove the confusion between the languages. We will see and be seen as we are.

Blessings, love and peace,

Dr. Akiva Gamliel Belk

And when Abram was ninety nine years old, [2147 FC]

the Lord [Spiritually] appeared to Abram, and said to him,

I am the El Shaddai / Almighty God; walk before me, and be perfect.

And I will make my covenant between me and you, and

will multiply you exceedingly.

And Abram fell on his face; and God talked with him, saying,

As for me, behold, my covenant is with you,

and you shall be a father to many nations.

And you shall not be called from Aleph to Tav of your name Abram,

your name is now Abraham; for a father to many nations I have made you.

And I will make you exceedingly fruitful,

and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come out of you.

And I will establish everything from Aleph to Tav of

my covenant between me and you and your seed

after you in their generations for an everlasting covenant,

to be a God to you, and to your seed after you.

Originally I was going to share about the Gematria Relationship of 642 between לִבְרִית Covenant and בִּרְכָתֶךָ Blessing but felt this subject would be more interesting to Noachides.

Hah Mohn

Many Multitude

ה5 מ40 ו6 ן50 = 101

Tzee Vawh

Command

צ90 ו6 ה 5 = 101

Notice the relationship between Hah Mohn, meaning multitude and Tzee Vawh, meaning Command. How does this impact the Noachide. Before reviewing this it is important to note the Covenant made here with Avraham is Brit Milah, Circumcision. Note Verse 11 and Genesis 21.4 And the Torah also makes that the seed is from Avraham.

Genesis 21.4

And Avraham circumcised everything from Aleph to Tav of Yitzchok, his son, being eight days old, as God had Commanded him.

It here in this weeks Limood that God Commanded Avraham.

Genesis 17.11 - 12

And you shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and you. And he who is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every male child in your generations, he who is born in the house, or bought with money from any stranger, who is not of your seed.

In a book we soon hope to publish entitled, 'Would You Like To Be Jewish' I discuss where we come from. What are our roots...

Now we can ask the question what is meant when the Creator of the Universe said to Avraham, 'you shall be a father to many nations?'

One could argue that Avraham had ten sons in addition to Yitzchok. They were born in his house. Avraham would have circumcised them.  Eisov was the grandson of Avraham. Deenah was the great  grand daughter of Avraham. What happened to them? They are the seed of Avraham.  Are they included in the the multitude of nations spoken of in Genesis 17.4? I think they are. So in theory there are a number of descendants of Avraham that maybe included in the multitude of nations that are not necessarily Jewish. And it is possible you maybe one of them... You would not be B'nei Yisroel.  You would be B'nai Avraham.  You would also be B'nai Noach. And you would be required to keep some of the 613 Commands of Ha Torah. No one is required to keep all of them.

We who are in search of who we are... may we be blessed with answers.

Blessings, Love and Peace,

Each plague was a month apart. Each plague was for seven days or less.

Stone p328

Each plague was equal to more than fifty miracles. For example it was a miracle one frog came out of the river and when struck became two frogs, i.e. duplicated. This duplication happened thousands of times. Each was a miracle. When the frogs returned to the river all at once it was a miracle. Returning to the river was a miracle. Dying in the river was a miracle.  There were many additional miracles associated with each plague. How do we know this? In Exodus 8.15 the Torah says this is the finger of God. In Exodus 9.3 The Torah Says, Behold, The hand of the Lord is upon the cattle... A hand has five fingers. The interpretation is each plague represents five miracles...

Firstborn, Exodus 12.1 -

Pharaoh had at least six opportunities to change.  He did not repent.  Pharaoh crossed the line.   He could not repent from that point on.  Why? His opportunity for repentance had passed. Now, God hardened his heart.  One may thing they can repent at any point in life and they may.  However that was not possible for Pharaoh and some of his advisors. They crossed the line. They toyed with God. they went beyond what was reasonable.  They could not repent from where they were.

This Zerah Torah Parshat is in the Loving Memory of Carrie bat Brachah Rivkah, may she rest in peace, may her memory be for good and may her soul be elevated in the Heavens.

Genesis 18.1 - 5

And He, HaShem / The Lord [Spiritually] Appeared to him in the plains of Mamre; as he dwelt in the tent door in the heat of the day.

And he lifted his eyes and he looked, and behold, three [Angles who appeared as Arab] men stood above him; and he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and he bowed himself to the ground... [Mentally HaShem is Present with Avram.]

And he [Avram] said, [to HaShem] My Master, if  I find favor in your eyes, pass not away, I beseech you, from your servant. [Then Avram addresses the three Arab men.]

Please take a little water and wash your feet, and rest yourselves beneath the tree;

And take a piece of bread, and sustain your hearts; after that pass over; for you have come to your servant. And they said, Yes! Make like that as you have said.

Why did the Creator visit Avraham? Our Sages Teach that this was the third day after His Brit Milah / his circumcision. The third day is when it is most painful.

At night fall Passover would begin. Avraham and Sarah did not celebrate Passover as his descendants would in a few hundred years. Yet they did have a form of celebration.

They removed leaven from their bread.

They removed leaven from their dwellings.

They made matzah.

How do we know this?  Avraham taught me.

Genesis 19.3

And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in to him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and baked unleavened bread / [Passover] Matzots, and they ate.

Why did Lot do this? The local law forbid having guests.  His wife and sons would not participate. He made a kosher feast with Matzah as Avraham had taught him. Rabbi Meir Zlotowitz and Rabbi Nosson Scherman, The Artscroll Tanach Series - Bereishis Vol. I(a) (Brooklyn, New York: Mesorah Publications, Ltd. 3rd Impression, 1989), p 680

We who have freedoms should enjoy them. Lot did not enjoy the freedoms we have. He risked everything he owned to celebrate Passover.  He was in the gate of the city seeking guests to celebrate Passover  as Avraham had taught him. Avraham was sitting with his tent flap open so he could search for guests to celebrate Passover with.

One must inquire why did Avraham have his Brit Milah three days before Passover.

Genesis 17.1,2

And when Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said to him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be perfect. And I will make my covenant between me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly...

Genesis 17. 9 -13

And God said to Abraham, You shall keep my covenant therefore, you, and your seed after you in their generations. This is my covenant, which you shall keep, between me and you and your seed after you; Every male child among you shall be circumcised. And you shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and you.  And he who is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every male child in your generations, he who is born in the house, or bought with money from any stranger, who is not of your seed.  He who is born in your house, and he who is bought with your money, must be circumcised; and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant...

Genesis 17.19-21

And God said, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son indeed; and you shall call his name Isaac; and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him. And as for Ishmael, I have heard you; Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he father, and I will make him a great nation.  But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, whom Sarah shall bear to you at this set time in the next year.

Genesis 17.22 - 27

And he left off talking with him, and God went up from Abraham. And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all who were born in his house, and all who were bought with his money, every male among the men of Abraham's house; and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin that very day, as God had said to him. And Abraham was ninety years old and nine, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.  And Ishmael his son was thirteen years old, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.  In the same day was Abraham circumcised, and Ishmael his son.  And all the men of his house, born in the house, and bought with money from the stranger, were circumcised with him.

Dear one, Avraham deeply desired to Obey the Commands of our Creator. He did not hesitate. He immediately got after it.

What do we do?

So, even though it was close to Passover Avraham preformed Brit Milah on all the men of his camp over the age of eight days. This is why no servants were available to get the calf and prepare it. Yishmael was the young man, i.e. the lad who prepared the calf.  How do we know this? The lad of Genesis 21.12 and 17,18, 19, 20 is Yishmael.  Yishmael, like his father Avraham obeyed the Commands of the Creator even when great pain was involved.

Dear ones from this lesson we can see why the Creator would come to visit a loyal, dedicated and faithful servant like Avraham.

We offer this study in the loving memory of my parents and Revi's parents. may they rest in peace.  May there memory be for good. May they be elevated in the heavens. May we dedicate our lives to good deeds, giving charity and loving others in there memory...

There are many translations and possible meanings for each verse of Ha Torah.

Translation one:

But God led the people around, through the way of the wilderness of the Red Sea; and the people of Israel went up armed out of the land of Egypt.

Translation two:

And God led everything from Aleph to Tav of the nation [Yisroel] around, through the way of the wilderness of the Red Sea; and a fifth of the nation of Israel went up out of the land of Egypt.

The Word וַחֲמֻשִׁים Vah Chah Moo Sheem means armed or it could mean five.  We call the Five Books of Moshe The Chumash, meaning the Five.

Rashi says an alternate meaning for verse eighteen is one out of every five went out of Egypt. Rabbi Avrohom Davis, The Mesudah Chumash A New Linear Translation Bereishis (Hoboken New Jersey, KTVA Publishing House, Inc., 1991) p 157 • Rabbi Nosson Scherman, The Stone Edition The Chumash (Mesorah Publications, Ltd., Brooklyn, N.Y. 1993), p. 367

600,000 men between the age of  twenty and sixty went out of Egypt. If  4/5th died in Egypt this means 2,400,000 died in Egypt during the three days of darkness. Rabbi Moshe Weissman, The Midrash Says (Brooklyn, New York:  Benei Yakov Publications 1980), p. 60

The slave mentality was very strong. Those that did come out were horribly abused by the evil task masters in Egypt. The Nation Israel was not ready for war. They were not ready to stand up to another nation. They were fragile.

Exodus 13.17

And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest perhaps the people change [their minds] when they see war, and they return to Egypt;

Dear Ones there are many possibilities to these two very different interpretations.  We know that the nation Israel was frightened when they saw Pharaoh and his army coming after them. Even though they may have been armed, mentally they were not prepared to fight.  They were devastated by years of slavery. It would appear that 4 out of 5 were weak, were sick, were hooked on being slaves and worshiping idols. The fifth that did leave would need to develop confidence and change the way they viewed life.

In Chapter four of my book Mysterious SIGNS Of The Torah REVEALED IN EXODUS I discuss constancy. The Nation Yisroel would need to begin learning how to be faithful to The Lord out of choice. The Nation Yisroel would need to develop being dependable to The Lord as people who were free. They would do this.

May each of us learn to be enduring and unchanging in our observance of the Torah portion of the Bible.

Salt is placed upon raw meet to draw out the blood. Salt is a preservative. Salt is a seasoning that enhances the flavor of meat bread and other foods. When our Holy Temple stood we had a Meez Bach/ a Holy Altar. We salted our sacrifices  when we placed them on the Holy Altar. Today our Shulcan / Dinning Table is the Holy Altar in the Jewish home. We place salt on the table just like we did on the Holy Altar. We pray at our Table. We share The torah Portion of the Bible at our Table.

Lot prepared unleavened bread, i.e. Matzah. This is bread without leaven. The Torah makes it very clear that Lot prepared Matzah. This is to inform us that Lot was Observant of Avraham's Teachings.

Genesis 19. 1- 3

And there came two angels to Sodom at evening; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom; and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face to the ground; 2  And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I beseech you, to your servant's house, and remain all night, and wash your feet, and you shall rise up early, and go on your way. And they said, No; we will stay in the street all night. 3  And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in to him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and baked unleavened bread, and they ate.

Genesis 3.19

This was the night of Passover. Lot was honoring this night even though Passover would not happen for many years in the future. In these two Verses we comp rear the Hebrew Words for bread.

In the sweat of your face shall you eat bread, till you return to the ground; for out of it you were taken; for dust you are, and to dust shall you return.

Oov Mah Tzot - Unleavened Bread.

Leh Chehm - Leavened Bread

The people of Sedom were really evil. They did not permit hospitality. They were evil to guests. It was against the law of Sedom to invite guests to you home. One could be seriously punished for making a guest feel welcome.

Rabbi said: There was no city more wicked than Sodom: when a man was evil he was called a Sedomite;... The men of Sedom were wicked and sinners. They committed sexual sins... The Sedomites made an agreement among themselves that whenever a stranger visited them they should force him to sodomy and rob him of his money . Br R 50.7 They were wicked to each other. They were adulterers. They were idol worshippers. The shed blood. Br R 41.7

Last week we discussed how hospitably Avraham was and how lot learned to be hospitable from Avraham. We did not dwell on the danger Lot placed upon himself or his family. We did not speak of Lots wife. She did not participate in the Passover meal .A fierce quarrel broke out over the salt, for he [Lot] said to her [his wife], ' Give these guests a little salt,' to which she replied, 'Do you want to introduce that evil practice here also?' Br R 50.4

She gossiped about Lot. When Lot did not have salt for the Passover meal she went from house to house requesting sale. She announced 'We have Guests' and Lot needs salt for the feast he is preparing them. Br. R 51.5

One of our Sages taught, 'Lot's wife turned into salt because she was stingy towards the needy. Lot himself was a generous person, always inviting guests. His wife resented guests and discouraged them. One trick of hers was not to provide salt, a small thing which makes a big difference to guests. Therefore, she was punished by means of salt, measure for measure.

R. Judah ben Shila said in R. Assi's name in R. Johanan's name: There are six things, the fruit of which man eats in this world [and enjoys], while the principal [blessing] remains for him for [in] the world to come. Such is Hospitality to wayfarers, Sabbath 127 a.
