There are three Torah Revelations we want to discuss.

First, is the Gematria of Eht Haw Ohr

א1 ת400   ה5 א1 ו6 ר200 = 613

There are 613 Observances written within The Five Books of Moshe, Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. These Observances were at that time Given to all. 2448 years later the 613 Observances of Ha Torah were separated from the people of the world, i.e. the B'nai Noach for The People of Israel Bnei Yisroel to follow. How do we know this?

The Lord God Gave the revelation on Day One when He Said, 'Let My Light be Revealed'.

Bereisheit 1.1 - 4

Genesis 1.1 - 4

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2  And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And a wind from God moved upon the face of the waters. 3  And God said, Let there be light; [Let My Light Be Revealed] and there was light. 4  And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. 5  And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day.

Second is the Word Eht אֵת At B'nai Noach Torah Institute we define Eht to mean 'Everything from the First Letter of The Aleph Bet, i.e. The א Aleph to the last Letter of The Aleph Bet, i.e. The ת Tav. Why do we do this?

The First usage of Eth was  אֵת הַשָּׁמַיִם  eth Ha Shaw Mah Yeem meaning 'Everything from the First Letter of The Aleph Bet, i.e. The א Aleph to the last Letter of The Aleph Bet, i.e. The ת Tav.  This is all inclusive. Everything in the Heavens was Created by God. The Second usage is וְאֵת הָאָרֶץ Vih Ayt  Haw Aw Rehtz meaning 'And 'Everything from the First Letter of The Aleph Bet, i.e. The א Aleph to the last Letter of The Aleph Bet, i.e. The ת Tav of the earth. This is also inclusive. Everything on earth was Created by God.

Third is Revelation is יוֹם אֶחָד Day One.  The original language does NOT Say The first day. Ha Torah Says Day One.  Day One has no beginning because it represents The Creator who is without beginning or end.

Ha Torah

The Creator's Revealed Light

Bereisheit 1.1-4

Genesis 1.1-4

In the beginning God Created everything from the Letter Aleph to the Letter Tav of the Heavens and everything from the Letter Aleph to the Letter Tav of the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And a wind from God Moved upon the face of the waters. And God Said, Let [My] Light; [be revealed] and there was Light. And God Saw the Light, that it was good; and God divided the Light from the Darkness.

This is the first four Verses of Ha Torah.

The Jewish understanding of the Ten Utterances in Creation mentioned in Pirkei Avot 5.1.

1. In the Beginning God Created the Heavens and the Earth. In other Words:

God Said, Let there be Heavens and Earth, - Genesis 1.1.

2. The Ruach... The Spirit of God hovered on the face of the waters. In other Words:

God Said... God Spoke... God Breathed and the waters moved, - Genesis 1.2.

3. God Said, Let My Light be Revealed and there was the Light [of the Torah... the 613 Commands of the Torah], Genesis 1.3. In the Original Text the Words אֶת־הָאוֹר Eht - Ha - Ohr have a very strong mystically meaning. 'this includes everything from the first Letter of the Aleph Bet, the Aleph to the last Letter of the Aleph Bet, the Tav of the REVEALED Light. The Light... the Illumination came from God. It is true that the Light the Illumination are Words. However these Words of Illumination are written. They are the 613 Commands written in the Torah. The Original language is Mystical in that each Letter has a numerical value. The Numerical value for Eht - Ha Ohr is 613. The 613 is representative of the 613 Commands God wrote in Ha Torah. They have nothing to do with Jesus.

The enlightenment we receive flows from The Torah. We talk about the order of the Letter and how they point to God as First and only source of enlightenment.

We explain that the Words אֶת־הָאוֹר Eht Ha Ohr mean more than everything from the Letter Aleph to the Letter Tav. They speak of the method by which God Revealed His Light through the Torah. Eht Ha Ohr is the Gematria of 613. In The Torah God Reveals 613 Commands that all Creation is to follow. The textbook discusses this in greater detail. All the Bible flows from the 613 Commands of the Torah. Nothing exists without The Torah. The 613 Commands tells us what God Wants from us. They tell us what our Creator Expects.

Eht Haw Ohr

א1 ת 400 ה5 א1 ו6 ר200 = 613

616 Mitzvot

We examine the relationship of The Torah and the number 613. We discover that the 'Light', written of in Genesis 1.1-4 is the Revelation of God as disseminated through 613 Commands. It is not the sun or the moon which were created on day four. We learn that the 613 Commands flow out from the Words God Spoke, 'Let My Light Be Revealed.' We learn of the great importance of the 613 Commands for each of us.

Some Commands are just for B'nei Yisroel / The Children of Israel. Other Commands are for every humans on this earth. Come Commands are just for women. Some Commands are just for men. Some Commands are for the Kohan Gadol / the High Priest. Some Commands are for Commands are for just the Priests. Some Commands are just for the Levites. Some Commands are for just farmers. Some Commands are just for children. The point is there are 613 Revelations of G-d's Light to us. No one Observes all 613 Commands. Yet each of us are suppose to Observe some of our Creator's Commands.

All that we have flows from the light we have received.

We view the Commands differently based upon our revelation. That is O. K. None of us has the golden key that unlocks the complete intent for each Command from our Creator. G-d Willing we go forward with this understanding.

א ת Eht means Everything from the Letter Aleph to the Letter Tav of הָאוֹר the Revelation of Light. I discuss this in more length in Chapter One of my book entitled: Mysterious Signs OF THE TORAH IN GENESIS.

Bereisheit 6.9 - 11.38

A Taste Of Torah

By Dr. Akiva Gamliel Belk

What Is It Like To Be Perfect?

Bereisheit 6.9

Genesis 6.9

These are the generations of Noah; Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked [in every way] from the Letter Aleph to the Letter Tav with God.

The word תָּמִים Taw Meem means to be whole hearted without blemish. The Bible Says Noach was Perfect in his generation. To me this means Noach was without flaw. There are some that Teach Noach was only perfect because his generation was so evil. In other words Noach was a conditional type of perfection. He wasn't really entirely perfect. I do not believe this. Ha Torah Says Noach was perfect. The Mysticism of perfection is great. The Gematria is 490.

Taw Meem

Perfect

ת400 מ40 י10 ם40 = 490

I discuss Noach perfection in my new book entitles Dr. Akiva Gamliel Belk, Gematria And Mysticism IN GENESIS Book 2 Chapters 11- 20 (Cedar Hill, Missouri - B'nai Noach Torah Institute, LLC Publishers, 2013)

There is another Gematria that I find most interesting. It is for the Word סלת So Lewht meaning 'Fine Flour'. What could Noach and fine flour have in common? The very first time the Word סלת So Lewht is mentioned in Ha Torah is in Genesis 18.6.

Bereisheit 18.3-8

Genesis 18.3-8

And said, My Lord, if now I have found favor in your sight, pass not away, I beseech you, from your servant; Let a little water, I beseech you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree; And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and you comfort your hearts; after that you shall pass on; seeing that you are come to your servant. And they said, So do, as you have said. And Abraham hurried to the tent to Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine flour, knead it, and make cakes. And Abraham ran to the herd, and fetched a calf tender and good, and gave it to a young man; and he hurried to prepare it. And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had prepared, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they ate.

Our Sages Teach the Words

meaning Kneed and make cakes actually mean to make Matzot. How do we know this?

Shemot 12.39

Exodus 12.39

And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt, for it was not leavened; because they were thrust out of Egypt, and could not remain, neither had they prepared for themselves any provision.

We also know that very evening Lot prepared Matzo for his guests.See Genes 19.3 What is the point? Matzo is bread without leavening. It is bread of the Holy Temple. It is without sin. Mystically we see that Noach was without sin.

Unleavened Cakes

The Bridge Of Righteousnessss

This year our goal is to use several of my study books to help guide this class. The Study books can be ordered on the internet at:   http://www.bnti.us/books.html

There is one Torah Revelations we want to discuss.

The Gematria of הַתֵּבָה of Hah Tay Vah is 412. This is the same Gematria as בֵּית Bay תeet meaning house.

Bereisheit 7.1

Genesis 7.1

And He HaShem  / The Lord Said to Noach you go and your household into the Tava / Ark for I have seen you are righteous before me in this generation.

Hah Tay Vah

ה5 ת400 ב2 ה5 = 412

ּBay Yeet ? House

ב2 י10 ת400 = 412

When we examine the Word צַדִּיק Tzah Deek meaning Righteous the Gematria is 204. Noach was Righteous.  and Noach was Righteous in his generation.  The Word דֹּר Dohr meaning Generation is also the Gematria of 204. Sometimes the Letter ו Vav is between the Letter ד Dalet and ר Reish. When this happens the Gematria is 210.

Mystically we see the world continuing on because of eight Noachides. Noach was Righteous and because he was Righteous His family was chosen to carry Righteousness into the next world and into the next generation.  When I read the Words Saying that Noach was Righteous before Me in his generation. Mystically we Observe that Noach was righteous everyday before The Lord. Noach was Righteous all seven days of the week. Noach was Righteous on Day Seven. We MUST REMEMBER that we are always before The Lord. Everything w do is before The Lord. The difference between Noach and many of us is Noach lived like everything he did was before The Lord.  To much emphasis is placed on 'In This generation'. More emphasis should be placed on 'Noach was Righteous Before Me צַדִּיק לְפָנַי everyday of the week, i.e all seven days. Mystically we Observe that בְּשֶׁבַע Bih Shaw Vah means with seven or through seven or in seven.

Tzah Deen Lih Faw Nai / Righteous Before [The Lord]

צ90 ד4 י10 ק100   ל30 פ80 נ50 י10 = 374

Bih Shaw Vah / With Seven or Through Seven or In Seven

ב2 ש300 ב2 ע70 = 374

Serving The Lord is 24 / 7.

Bereisheit 1.1 - 31

The Revealed Light

Eht Haw Ohr

א1 ת400   ה5 א1 ו6 ר200 = 613

There are 613 Observances written within The Five Books of Moshe, Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. These Observances were at that time Given to all. 2448 years later the 613 Observances of Ha Torah were separated from the people of the world, i.e. the B'nai Noach for The People of Israel Bnei Yisroel to follow. How do we know this?

The Lord God Gave the revelation on Day One when He Said, 'Let My Light be Revealed'. At that time His Revelation was to all creation. In next week's Bereisheit Limood we will learn how Observances of Ha Torah were Given.

Bereisheit 1.1 - 4

Genesis 1.1 - 4

In the beginning God Created everything from Aleph to Tav of the heaven and everything from Aleph to Tav of the earth. 2  And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And The spirit from God Moved upon the face of the waters. 3  And God Said, Let everything from Aleph to Tav of My Light Be Revealed] and there was light. 4  And God Saw the light, that it was good; and God Divided the light from the darkness. 5  And God Called the light Yom / Day, [56 / 616] and the darkness He Called Law Yih Lah Night, [75] And there was evening and there was morning, One Day.

One cannot pretend to know the first five Verses of Ha Torah.  An unknown amount of time is represented here.

1.) We know that The Creator Revealed everything of His Light and of His Darkness. All Revelation is contained in Ha Torah, i.e. The 613 Observances of Ha Torah.

2. Originally the Light of His Revelation was a mixture of Day Revelations and Night Revelations.

3. The Creator divided the Day Revelations to one location and the Night  Revelations to another location. He divided His Revelation so that Creation would understand the mental / Spiritual difference between Yom / Day Revelation and Law Yih Law / Night Revelation. If you will our Creator organized His Revelation for us.

4. Even though our Creator divided His Revelation they are all a part of His Revelation. Day Revelations and Night Revelations together are One Revelation. I am saying that at that time  the Day Revelation was like the Light of our daytime and the Night Revelation was like the night of our nighttime.  The Presence of Light existed in the form of God's Revelation and the Presence of Darkness existed in the form of God's Revelation even though there was no sun, moon or stars.  All order and all Creation was established in the Spirit Mind of God. Creation established the Will of the Spirit Mind of God.

Considering thoughts like these can be frightening.  We have just tasted a  smidgen of the unknown.  The above discussion regarding the Revelation of God happened on Day One. The Creation of the sun, moon and stars and daylight and night happened on the Fourth Day. Please note that as we discussed the Revelation of God the Word Create or formed or fashioned does not occur because God's Revelation already existed.

Genesis 1.14 - 19

And God Said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years; And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth; and it was so. And God made everything from Aleph to Tav of two great lights; Everything from Aleph to Tav of the large light to rule the day, and everything from Aleph to Tav of the small light to rule the night; and He Made everything from Aleph to Tav of the stars.  And God Set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness; and God Saw that it was good. And there was evening and there was morning, the fourth day.

The Word Eht

At B'nai Noach Torah Institute, LLC we define Eht to mean 'Everything from the First Letter of The Aleph Bet, i.e. The א Aleph to the last Letter of The Aleph Bet, i.e. The ת Tav. Why do we do this? We define אֵת as above. When interpreting The Bible there Hermeneutical Rules. These are rules which scholars follow to interpret The Bible. One Hermeneutical Rule requires us to examine the very first usage of the Word in The Bible. It is also good yo examine the second and third usages of the text in question to see if a patter forms.

First usage is: אֵת הַשָּׁמַיִם  - We believe God Created everything in the Heavens.  So with or without the את we believe this. Yet, the Word את is there for a reason. We at B'nai Noach Torah Institute, LLC  Teach the reason for the את is to say 'Everything from the First Letter of the Aleph Bet, The א Aleph to the last Letter of The Aleph Bet,  The ת Tav. Nothing is excluded!

Second usage is: וְאֵת הָאָרֶץ - We believe God Created everything in the Earth.  So with or without the את we believe this. Yet, the Word את is there for a reason. Again, we at B'nai Noach Torah Institute Teach the reason for the את is to say 'Everything from the First Letter of the Aleph Bet, The Aleph to the last Letter of The Aleph Bet,  The ת Tav. Nothing is excluded!

So we translate 'In the Beginning God Created everything from Aleph to Tav of the Heavens and Everything from Aleph to Tav of the Earth...'

Third usage is אֶת־הָאוֹר Eht Ha Orh, i.e Everything from aleph to Tav of His Revelation. In addition to the first three usages is references for additional discussion.

How are we Influenced By The Letter כ ך Chof ?

By Dr. Akiva Gamliel Belk

Dean of Jewish Studies at B'nai Noach Torah Institute, LLC

Course Textbook

http://www.bnti.us/books.html

We continue on Page 34

The normal Letter כ  Chof looks like a reversed letter c in English. The Final Letter Chof looks like and upside down capital letter L from English.  The Gematria of Chof is 20. When the Letter Chof is at the end of a Word the Gematria maybe either 20 or 500.

Bereisheit 12.1 -

Genesis 12.1

And He, The Lord Said to Avram, Go! Get Out! from your land and from your relatives and from your Father's House to go to the Land that I will show you.

This is like saying 'Go to a land that I will show you and Get away from your land and from your relatives and from your Father's House.  This was a Message to Avram and to Sarai.

Genesis 11.26

And Terah lived seventy years, and fathered Abram, Nahor, and Haran.

It would appear like Abram, Nahor, and Haran were triplets. We know Avram was born in 1948 F. C. [From Creation].  Our Sages Teach Avram left Charan for the first time at the age of 70. Genesis 15 took place when Avraham was 70 years old.  Five years later Avram left Charan the second time at the age of 75. This means when Avram left Charan at the age of 75 his Father would have been 145 years of age. So when Ha Torah Says Terach died at the age of 205 this would have been 60 years from When Avraham left his land, his relatives and his Father's house.

Genesis 11.32

And the days of Terach were two hundred and five years; and Terach died in Haran.

Genesis 12.4

So Abram departed, as the Lord Had [Previously] spoken to him; and Lot went with him; and Abram was seventy five years old when he departed from Charan.

Terach lived 60 years after Avram departed Charan. Yet, at the time Avram left his Father it was like he was a dead man. This is the message we are given when Ha Torah says Terach lived to 205 years then died. Yet, we know In Genesis 15 Avram received a prophecy that when he would live to advanced in years and then he would go to be with his Fathers. Our Sages Say this included Terach who use to be an Idol maker. Terach repented before his death The Letter כ Chof had the power to reverse Terach life style.

Genesis 15.15

And you shall go to your fathers in peace; you shall be buried in a good old age.

We Mystically Observe the influence of the Chof in the following three Words.

ך = 20

ך = 20

ך = 20

60

The Word הַהֹלֵךְ Ha Hoh Laych means 'To Go' The Gematria is 60. In addition we know this is in relationship to Avram beause Genesis 13.5 Says.

Ha Hoh Laych / To Go

ה5 ה5 ל30 ך20 = 60

Bereisheit 13.5

Genesis 13.5

And Lot also, went to go with Abram, had flocks, and herds, and tents.

Lih Loht / To Lot or Also Lot

ל30 ל30 ו6 ט9 = 75

75 is the age Avram left Charan.

Mystically we see many interesting nuggets. We Observe that the Letter Chof would change Avram. In Avot, i.e. Ethics of our Fathers we read, Rav Yehudah Said, Be careful in study for an error in study amounts to presumption. Rav Shimon Said, there are three Crowns. There is the Crown of Ha Torah, the Crown of the Priesthood and the crown of Royalty. However the Crown of a good name excels them all, Avot 4.13.

Genesis 12.2

And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing;

We know The Lord God Changed Avram's name in Genesis 17.

Genesis 17.5-7

Neither shall your name any more be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I Made you. And I Will Make you exceedingly fruitful, and I Will Make nations of you, and kings shall come out of you. And I Will Establish My Covenant between Me and you and your seed after you in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God to you, and to your seed after you.

The First Observance

Within The Ha Torah there are 613 Mitzvot / Observances. Last week in Chapter 1 we discussed the 613 Mitzvot. Let's review briefly. Notice the Words  אֶת־הָאוֹר Eht Haw Ohr meaning 'My Revealed Light'. The Gematria is 613.

Eht Haw Ohr

א1 ת400   ה5 א1 ו6 ר200 = 613

Of the 613 Mitzvot Some of the Observances are only for The High Priest. Some of the Observances are for Priests, i.e. the sons of Aharon.  Some of the Observances are only for The Levites.  Some of the Observances are only for the farmers and the property owners.  Some of the Observances are only for men. Some of the Observances are only for women. Some of the Observances are only for hunters.  Some of the Observances are only for animals, birds, fish, trees and plants.  Some of the Observances are only for giving Offerings.  Some of the Observances are only for the Holy Temple. Some of the Observances are only for The Land Of Israel.  Some of the Observances are for those who are not Jewish. Regardless, these 613 Observances were given to guide and direct our lives.

Originally the Creator Gave just one Observance to Adam and Eve. Do you know which Observance it was?  Do not steal! Our Creator Said to Adam and Eve,

Genesis 2.16

And the Lord God Commanded Ha Adam / Eve, Saying, Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat of it; for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.

Our Creator did not lay a heavy burden on Adam or Eve. Our Creator Gave them one observance. The observance was a prohibition, i.e. The Creator Said, Do not eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. The tree of knowledge of good and evil belongs to me. It does not belong to you. It is forbidden to you.  This is how we train our children. We give them one important responsibility. Then we watch to see how they perform.  Our hope is that they will perform well and that we will be able to give them additional responsibilities as they mature.

Human kind had not sinned prior to stealing from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Yet, even though Adam and Chavah sinned all was not lost. Chapter 1 concludes with a very important comment from the Lord God, after creation was concluded and after Adam and Eve sinned. The Creator Said, Behold it was very good.

Genesis 1.31

And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.

How could the Creator say this?  Our Sages Teach that seven things were created before the world. They are: The Torah, Repentance, the Garden of Eden, Gehenna, the Throne of Glory, the Temple, and the name of the Messiah, Nedarim 39b.  This means that both Adam and Chavah did

teshuvah, i.e. they acknowledged their sin, they turned away from their sin, they made a plan to not repeat their sin, they reversed their sinful action and they offered restitution. This is how the Lord God could say, 'Behold, it was very good.' God Willing in the following Chapter we will discuss How One Receives Forgiveness for Sin.

In Chapter 2 we learn that embedded in Genesis 2.16 are Seven Observances The Creator Gave for every Human to follow.  One may ponder, where are these observances? I can understand questions like these. Are Sages Teach that the Lord God Created this world with Ten Utterances. Can you imagine, everything being created in our entire universe  from just Ten utterances?  It is possible to ask the same question when reading Genesis Chapter 2.16. We are very big on keywords. These are words that are very very important. In Genesis Chapter 2.16 there is a keyword which is like the door to a very large research.

Bereisheit 2.16

Genesis 2.16

And He, The Lord God Commanded, to Haw Adam meaning both Adam and Chavah...

This is the first time in the Bible that we read the word Vah Yih Tzvah, וַיְצַו meaning 'To Command'. It is at this place and location that our Creator Games Seven Laws to all humanity.  We know this because of the Word צַו.  Humankind violated the Seven Laws often. So when we as a people cannot Observe 1 Command as in Adam and Chavah or Seven Commands as in the descendants of Cain and the people of the flood age how could our Creator Share all 613 Observances? Then came Noach a perfect man in his generation, his son Shem and his great great grandson Eiver.  Shem and his great Grandson formed the first Torah Academy, i.e. The School of Shem and Eiver. They taught Ha Torah to Avraham / Abraham, Yitzchok / Isaac and Yaakov / Jacob. Their descendants would receive Ha Torah in 2,448 on Mount Sinai. How do we know this? The Gematria of וַיְצַו  is 112. This is the same Gematria number of בָּעָם Baw Awm meaning The People of Israel. Vah Yih Tzvah is the first usage of the Word Command. Baw Awm is the first usage.

Vah Yih Tzvah / And the Command

ו6 י10 צ90 ו6 = 112

Baw Awm /

Through the People / by The People / With The People

ב2 ע70 ם40 = 112

Course Text Begins Here:

We will try to review four areas in Genesis 3.

First  is a discussion on  who the serpent was and does the serpent pose danger today as then?  We discuss why the serpent was NOT Suton / Satan, i.e. the devil. We discuss the role the Creator has mapped out for Suton.

Bereisheit 3.1

Genesis 3.1

Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made... And he said to the woman, Has God said, you shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

Let's compare  עָרוּם the word subtil... clever to עֲרוּמִּים naked. The plural for  subtil... clever... is עֲרוּמִּים which is also the spelling for naked. STOP! Who was naked? They were both naked. What is the point? עֲרוּמִּים naked is plural for  עָרוּם subtil... clever...

Bereisheit 2.25

Genesis 2.25

And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

The point is that they were naked... they were exposed... they were uncovered... Yet could they have been subtle... clever... shrewd... crafty...prudent... deliberate... foxy...?

Second is a discussion on accountability. Who is accountable for taking the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil?

Is the Serpent responsible?

Is Eve / Chavah responsible?

Is Adam responsible?

Are all responsible?

Adam was present for the entire conversation.

Bereisheit 3.1-5

Genesis 3.1-5

Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman [WIFE], Has God Said, you shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said to the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden; But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, you shall not eat of it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die. And the serpent said to the woman, surely you shall not die; For God knows that in the day you eat of it, then your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Should we consider the serpents choice and number of Words? YES! Why? Nothing is by chance. The serpent was subtle... clever... shrewd... crafty...prudent... deliberate... foxy...? The number of Words are highlighted in Yellow. The serpent spoke 26 Words to the Wife of Adam. The Gematria of Yud Kay Vav Kay. This is the Gematria of the Holy Name of the Lord.

י ה ו ה

י10  -  ה5  -  ו6  -  ה5  = 26

Chavah did not stop the conversation with the serpent.  Chavah did not use her authority over the serpent. Chavah listened. Chavah reasoned. Chavah did not consult with her husband.

Genesis 3.6

And when the woman [WIFE] saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit, and ate, and gave also to her husband with her; and he ate.

1. The Wife saw that the tree of knowledge of good and evil was good for food...

2. The Wife saw that the tree of knowledge of good and evil was pleasant to the eyes

3. The Wife saw that the tree of knowledge of good and evil was a tree to be desired to make one wise,

Adam did not stop the conversation. Adam did not intervene. Adam did not use his authority over the serpent. Adam listened. Adam watched. Adam did not consult with his wife nor advise her. 'Chavah took, i.e. she stole of its fruit, and ate, and gave also to her husband with her; and he ate.

Each are individually responsible and each are responsible as a group. Ha Torah is Teaching individual responsibility and group responsibility it this life story.

This should raise many questions about human and group behavior. Should Adam her husband spoke up? Should he have intervened? Should he have done something? Ha Torah does not say, Adam saw that the tree of knowledge of good and evil was good for food... or that  Adam saw that the tree of knowledge of good and evil was pleasant to the eyes or that Adam saw that the tree of knowledge of good and evil was a tree to be desired to make one wise.  Adam was standing right there with Chavah. Chavah's eyes were opened first. She realized that she was naked first. Yet, Chavah gave to Adam and he ate of the forbidden fruit. He ate of the stolen fruit.

Dear one, this is exactly how each of us are. We know better. We know what we should be doing. We know that what we are about to do is wrong yet, we do it anyway...

Third we discuss clothing.

There is NO PLACE in The Bible that says The Lord God sacrificed animals to cover Adam and Chavah. The Bible does not say anything about the Lord God shedding the blood of any animal. 'The Lord God made coats of skins, and clothed them.'  The Lord God took the skin of the serpent and combined that with the wool of sheep and goats to provide coats for Adam and Chavah. Ohr means skin.

Bereisheit 3.21

Genesis 3.21

For Adam and for his wife the Lord God made coats of skins, and clothed them.

In Chapter 1 we learned about אֶת־הָאוֹר 'The Lord's Revealed light through the 613 Observances of Ha Torah. We discussed the Word אוֹר Ohr meaning Light. When Adam and Chavah sinned their Glorious Shekinah which covered them departed. leaving them unclothed... The aura... the light... the shekinah they once enjoyed was now gone. In place of the Ohr / Light the Lord God made coats of עוֹר skins, and clothed them.

Our Sages Teach that one may interchange the Letters א Aleph and ע Ayin. When we interchange the Letter Aleph for Ayin in  אוֹר Ohr meaning Light it becomes  עוֹר skins. The Gematria changes from 207 to 276. The difference between them is 69. Ohr is a Spiritual cover. Ohr is a skin covering. Ohr represents a nearness to The Lord. Ohr represents a greater distance from The Lord God. This is the result of our parents sin. Soog means to withdraw, to retreat, to move back, to recede. The Gematria of   סוּג Soog is 69.

Soog / withdraw, to retreat, to move back,

ס60 ו6 ג3 = 69

How Did Avram Pray?

Bereisheit 13.4

Genesis 13.4

[Avram went] to the place of the Altar that he built their in the first visit and called their Avram through The Name of The Lord.

Avram is a mystic to us. We follow Avram. We study Avram. A great deal can be learned in doing this. Today we are going to consider how Avram may have called out to The Lord.

The Letter ב Bet in the Word בְּשֵׁם Bih Saym may mean:

in the Name...

with the Name...

through the Name...

There are other possibilities as well.

We are going to consider the possibility of 'through the Name'.

When we look at the Word בְּשֵׁם Bih Saym we understand שֵׁם could be in reference to:

The Holy Name...

A designation for The Holy Name...

A place of the Holy Name...

There are other possibilities as well.

We are going to consider the possibility of 'through a designation of the Holy Name'. In this discussion designation would mean Torah.

What is the Gematria of Torah?

Torah

ת400 ו6 ר200 ה5 =611

ָAvram through The Name of The Lord

א1 ב2 ר200 ם = 40 = 243

ב2 ש300 ם40 = 342

י10 ה5 ו6 ה5 = 26

611 = 26 + 342 +243

Mystically we see Avram crying out to the Creator through Words of Ha Torah. What Words? Perhaps:

Bereisheit 15.1

Genesis 15.1

'...Fear not Avram, I am Your Shield, your reward is very great.'

Bereisheit 12.3

Genesis 12.3

I will bless then that bless you...

Notice the Word תִּירָא the Gematria for תִּירָא is 611 also.

Fear

ת400 י10 ר200 א 1 = 611

[Avram went] to the place of the Altar that he built their in the first visit and called their Avram through Words of The Torah of The Lord.

One could say,

[Avram went] to the place of the Altar that he built their in the first visit and called their Avram in fear [awesome respect] of The Lord.

Mystically there are many possibilities. Yet we see the different ways in which one may call out to The Lord.
