We have been discussing different applications of  אֶת־הָאוֹר The Light, i.e. the Revelation of The Lord the past three lessons.

Eht Haw Ohr

א1 ת 400     ה5 א1 ו6 ר200 = 613

616 Mitzvot

We have examined the relationship of The Torah and the number 613. The number 613 represents the 613 observances given to all humankind originally then in 2448 F.C.  the majority of the 613 Observances were placed upon The People of Israel. Now, chronologically the discussion here in Ha Torah is taking place hundreds of years before the separating of the Mitzvot / Commandments from B'nai Noach to B'nei Yisroel.

In Genesis 1.1 - 4 we discovered that the Light, i.e. The Revelation of God's Will for us preceded the creation of the sun, moon and and stars which were Created on the Fourth Day.  We learn that the 613 Commands of Ha Torah flow out from the Words God Spoke, 'Let My Light Be Revealed.' We learn of the great importance of the 613 Commands for each of us.

In week three we learned that the Spiritual Light, i.e. The Shekinah covered Adam and Chavah from there creation until there sin. When they sinned the Spiritual Light departed from them. They were uncovered .  They were naked. They needed a covering. The Creator Provided a skin covering for them. The serpent shed his skin. The Creator took the shed skin from the serpent along with goats hair and lamb's wool to fashion coats for our first parents. Spiritual Light is represented by the Letter א Aleph. The Letter אלף Aleph is the first Letter in Name of Godאלהים . and and the first Letter of אֶת־הָאוֹר Eht Ha Ohra. Adam and Chavah were created to live forever in Gan Eden but because of there sin they were expelled. The Orah, the Spiritual Light departed our parents. Later the עור orah / the skin of the serpent and the hair from goats and the wool from lambs would be combined to covered their bodies. Notice the עור  orah is spelled beginning with the Letter ע Ayin which has to do with vision, sight, the eyes. Chavah saw that the Tree of knowledge of good and evil was good for food... She saw the fruit was pleasant to the eyes and Chavah saw it was a tree to be desired to make one wise.   So to a degree Adam and Chavah sinned because of gazing upon Tree of knowledge of good and evil and because of their disobedience.

All humanity was weakened because of our parents failure. They did not implore the Mitzvot of Ha Torah. Unfortunately they let their guard down.  They allowed themselves to be vulnerable to the craftiness of the serpent.

They were warned in advance about the serpent when they were placed in Gan Eden.

Bereisheit 2.15

Genesis 2.15

And the Lord God took everything from the Aleph to the Tav of them [ha Adam], and put him into the Garden of Eden to guard it and to work it.

Adam and Chavah had the upper hand.  They were in control. They failed to use the tools given to them by The Lord God. When we sin it is normally the same for us. We did not use all of our resources to defeat the enemy.

Bereisheit 22.1

Genesis 22.1

And it happened after the words, the oath and then God tested everything from the letter Aleph to the letter Tav of Avraham, and He said to Avraham, and he [Avraham answered], Here I am.

The fifth, sixth and seventh words equal the Gematria 613. Vih Haw El-Him - Nee Saw - Eht - Avraham 'And then God tested everything from the letter Aleph to the letter Tav [of Avraham].

This reminds us when we are going through tests to remember to observe the 613 Commands of Ha Torah.  The Mitzvot are our protection. The Observances are our shield. It is difficult to stand when going through tests.  Sometimes it is challenging to observe the 613 Commands of Ha Torah when going through tests. One feels like they need to be protected, like they need to be shielded. Just as sheep are gathered into a corral we need to be gathered into the corral of the Great Shepherd, HaShem.  The boundaries of the fence are the 613 Commands of Ha Torah

613 Mitzvot / Commands of Ha Torah

Vih Haw El-him - Nee Saw - Eht - Avraham

 ו6 ה5 א1 ל30 ה5 י110ם40   נ50 ס60 ה5   א1 ת400  = 613

Protective Fence Pen or Corral

ג3 ד4 ר200 ו6 ת400 =613

Remember Satan's complaint to the Creator with regards to Job.  You have built a hedge... a fence around him...

Job 1.10

You have made a hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he has on every side. You have blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.

When Adam and Chavah sinned there was a breach in their hedge in their fence.  Ask this question would you rater be tested with in the protection of the fence or outside of the protective fence?

Avraham opened the door for his descendants to receive the 613 Mitzvahs of Torah.  How?  Avraham went on a discovery of God. Avraham trusted God. Avraham was obedient to God.

The Akeidah was to prove that there was strength in the agreement between God and Avraham.   It was to place the agreement between God and Avraham on trial.  Avraham was tested to see if he would obey God's Command.  We are also tested to see if we will obey God's Commands.   Now, we are not commanded to sacrifice our children as Avraham was, Thank God!   Yet we are tested.  When we are tested, our test can reach the same Spiritual places as our Father Avraham.

Avraham faced his test relying on what God had promised him.  We share in the promises of our father Avraham.  Each generation from Avraham until now shares in the Covenant between God and the People of Israel. Our children and grandchildren and great grandchildren share in our agreement.  Yet like Avraham we must be tested to demonstrate the dedication, honor and strength of our agreement with God.

So we are going to be tested. The question is do we want to be tested with in the protection of the fence or outside of the protective fence? Will we use the Observances of Ha Torah to help shield us in our times of being tested. Will we use all of our resources to succeed? God Willing!

What is A Morsel Of Bread?

Bereisheit 18.4, 5

Genesis 18.4, 5

Please! Let me take a little water and wash your feet while you rest beneath the Tree.

And I will take take [for you] A Morsel of bread to sustain your hearts. Afterwards, continue on. However, this is the reason you passed by your  servant. They answered [in unison] Yes! Make like as you said.

This reason? What is for this reason?

The Angels had a reason to stop and to visit with Avraham. The Hebrew Scriptures Say,

Isaiah 52.7

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who announces peace; who brings good news of good, who announces salvation; who says to Zion, Your God Reigns!

Michael announced Sarah's conception. Raphael brought healing for Avraham. Gabriel salvation for Lot His Wife and children. Rabbi Meir Zlotowitz and Rabbi Nosson Scherman, The Artscroll Tanach Series - Bereishis Vol. I(a) (Brooklyn, New York: Mesorah Publications, Ltd. 3rd Impression, 1989), p 628

Were these the only reasons? Rav Chama bar Chanina said, It was the third day since Avram's Brit Melah. It was on the third day our Creator paid a sick call to Avraham. Rabbi Avrohom Davis, The Mesudah Chumash A New Linear Translation Bereishis (Hoboken New Jersey, KTVA Publishing House, Inc., 1991) p 172 Is it possible that on the day of Avraham's brit milah that our Creator dispatched the three angels? Perhaps! Is it possible the three Angels were traveling for three days? Perhaps! I don't know! Yet, we know years later B'nei Yisroel would travel three days without Water, Exodus 15.22.   And we know that Water is like Ha Torah. It is from this portion of Ha Torah that we learn we cannot go beyond three days without sharing Ha Torah. Is it possible the Angels stop to give and receive Words of Ha Torah? Yes! How do we know this? The Gematria of  וְרַחֲצוּ רַגְלֵיכֶם

meaning, to take a little water and wash your feet is 613. And we know the Mitzvot of Ha Torah are 613.

[to take a little water] and wash your feet

ו6 ר200 ח8 צ90 ו6 = 310

ר200 ג3 ל30 י10 כ20 ם40 = 303

613 = 310 + 303

We also know that the Gematria of

פַת־לֶחֶם meaning A morsel of Bread is the Gematria of 558. What did our Creator Say about Bread?

Deuteronomy 8.3

And he humbled you, and let you hunger, and fed you with manna, which you knew not, neither did your fathers know; that he might make you know that man does not live by bread only, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord does man live.

Paht Leh Chehm / A morsel of Bread

פ80 ת400   ל30 ח8 ם40 = 558

Oov Meezt Vooh Tawv

and [all] His Commandments

ו6 מ40 צ90 ו6 ת400 י10 ו6 = 558

We Observe that the Gematria of וּמִצְוֹתָיו Oov Meezt Vooh Tawv meaning and [all] His Commandments is 558. Mystically this is reference to a morsel of bread. So by this we understand Mystically  water is like Torah and the Commandments of our Creator, like a morsel of bread.

Ezekiel 12 Says, '... Son of man, eat your bread with quaking, and drink your water with trembling and with anxiety....'

Exodus 1.8 informs us that a new king came into power who did no know Yoseif. In other Words he did not eat the Bread of Mitzvots / Commandments nor drink the Water of Ha Torah... This is what Yoseif did...

Shemot 1.8

Exodus 1.8

And there arose up a new king over Egypt, who knew not Joseph.

And there arose up a new king

ו6 י10 ק100 ם40 = 156

מ40 ל30 ך20   ח8 ד4 ש300 = 402

558 = 156 + 402

This discussion is predicated upon Genesis 3 discussion about individual and group accountability when Adam and Eve sinned.  Some teach that when Adam Ha Reshon {the first man} and Eve Ha Reshonah {the first lady, Eve} sinned that they brought a blood offering. NOT TRUE!

G-d Provided a skin covering from the shed serpent's skin and combined the serpent's skin with woven goats hair and woven wool  from lambs to Clothe and provide a covering for Adam and Eve.  The Lord God Did Not Shed blood from animals.

Animal sacrifices did not begin until after the flood of Noach. For the first 1,647 years prior to the flood animals were not sacrificed. Every being was vegetarian. Taking the life of an animal was forbidden! (Genesis 9.2-5) The Tributes  of Cain and Able in Genesis 4.3 - 5 are often translated 'offerings' yet No animal life was taken. Mee Nih Chawh is the Word many mistakenly translate as Offering. Yet, Minchah is a Gift a Tribute. The act of taking an animals life was not done during the first 1,648 years. There were no animal offerings and  no animal sacrifices. There were only tributes and gifts.

How do we know Able did not offer a blood sacrifice?  They did not build an altar because they were prohibited from slaughtering animals, (R' Yosief Kimchi; Tur). Rabbi Meir Zlotowitz and Rabbi Nosson Scherman, The Artscroll Tanach Series - Bereishis Vol. I(a) (Brooklyn, New York: Mesorah Publications, Ltd. 3rd Impression, 1989), p 145

In Genesis 4.3 - 5 many translators incorrectly say they brought an offering to The Lord. Cain and Able brought a Tribute to The Lord. It is for reasons like this that translators MUST be so very careful because one incorrect translation can give the wrong impression!! The jump from Offering to Sacrifice is easy to make. The jump from Tribute to Sacrifice is not. This is how misunderstandings begin. This is how pseudo doctrines begin.

Bereisheit 4.4

Genesis 4.4

And Abel also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of rich cream of it. And the Lord had respect for Abel and for his offering;

Genesis 3.22 - humankind knows for sure the difference between what is right and what is evil...

Bereisheit 3.22

Genesis 3.22

And the Lord God Said, Behold, the man [meaning Adam and Eve] has become like one of us [meaning other Spiritual Beings having the ability] to know for sure [what is] good and [what is]evil; and now, what if he puts forth his hand, and takes also from the tree of life, and eats, and lives forever;

As we read Genesis 4. 1-7 please pay careful attention to the highlited Words.

Bereisheit 4.1 - 7

Genesis 4.1 - 7

And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bore Cain, and said, I have acquired a man from the Lord.   And she again bore his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.  And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground a Tribute to the Lord.   And Abel also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat of it. And the Lord had respect for Abel and for his Tribute;  But for Cain and for his tribute He did not have respect. And Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell.  And The Lord said to Cain, Why are you angry? and why is your countenance fallen?  If you improve, you shall be accepted. and if you do not well, sin lies at the door. And to you shall be his desire, and yet you may rule over him.

Cain, the older brother of Able gave a Tribute of spoiled flax seed to the Creator. It is understandable that Cain's / Cain's Tribute was rejected by the Lord! Cain's Tribute was NOT from the best of his vegetarian produce. Cain's Tribute was not from the first fruits of his vegetarian produce. Cain's offering was NOT rejected because it was vegetarian. It was rejected because of Cain's stubbornness, stinginess and very poor choice for a Tribute to the Creator.

Able's Tribute was NOT a blood offering!! The Torah portion of the Bible says Able's Tribute was from the very best of his firstborn flocks. Our Sages Teach this means Able brought the finest spun wool. Able brought the finest cream and cheese. Able's Tribute was accepted because of the correct attitude in which he gave his Tribute to The Lord.

Midrash Tanchumah states,  Cain's offering consisted of poor quality flax seed.  [Cain offered] inferior produce as a sacrifice, taking the best for himself. (Eitz Yosef} Avrohom Davis, Metsudah Midrash Tanchuma Bereishis 1 (Monsey, NY Eastern Book Press Inc. 2005) p50

Our attitude of giving to the Lord must be proper

Bereisheit 4.3

Genesis 4.3

And it happened in the process of many days that he, Cain / Cain brought from the fruit of the ground a Tribute to The Lord.

Cain brought his Tribute to the Place of the future Altar of the Bet Ha Mikdosh / The Holy Temple. This was the most Holy Place outside Gan Eden. It is the place where our Creator Took from the dust of the ground to form the body of Ha Adam. Rabbi Nosson Scherman, The Stone Edition The Chumash Travel Size (Mesorah Publications, Ltd., Brooklyn, N.Y. 2001), p. 39

Bereisheit 4.4

Genesis 4.4

And Able / Able, He brought from the firstlings / the first born of his sheep and  from the fat [the choice of / the cream from the milk and cheese, and He, The Lord Had Regard to Able and to His Tribute.

Bereisheit 4.5

Genesis 4.5

And to Cain's and to his Tribute there was no respect and he, Cain was angry towards [himself], and His face showed great disappointment.

What is the difference between the Tributes?

1.) Cain did NOT bring a choice Tribute.

2.) Cain did NOT bring a Tribute from the first of . מִבְּכֹרוֹת .his crops, i.e

Think of Cain like this. If a friend were to tailor a shirt for you out of left over scraps it maybe a nice shirt but it came from scraps. No matter how nice our scraps maybe and no matter how beautiful we can transform our scraps the fact remains we do not give our scraps to The Lord the Creator of The Universe as Cain did. Compare the difference. If this taylor went into a fine fabric store and purchased the finest and most costly materials with the intent of using his / her's greatest tailoring skills to design and produce the best possible shirt this would be what Able did and what Cain did NOT do. Now let's put this in perspective a little more. I have heard the stories of many children whose parents took cloth from grain sacks and made them nice clothing. I understand. At that time they could not afford more. This was NOT the situation with Cain. He could have afforded to give the best crop to the Creator but did not. Cain could have prepared and planned his Tribute instead of throwing something together for the Creator of the Universe. Cain was unwilling to give or spend. He was not generous. He was stingy. He was stubborn. He was unwilling to open his hand to the Creator let alone the poor and destitute. If one will not select the best, plan and prepare for the Creator and Judge of the Universe then what will that one do for those who are the least? Cain's lack of generosity was a sin. Cain was disrespectful to the Creator. Cain's gift was garbage. Our Sages Say Cain offered as his Tribute spoiled flax seed. This was a sin! Can we now understand why Cain's offering was rejected? Cain had issues with acknowledging and honoring the Creator. Cain's thoughts and actions were sinful.

Genesis 49.3

Reuvein /Reuben, you are my firstborn, my strength, and my initial vigor, foremost in rank and foremost in power.

Yaakov described why the firstborn is the choice. The first born is the cream of the crop. So in a similar way we can understand that one of the issues with Cain is he was stingy. He did not want to give the Creator anything of value. He wanted to give the Creator something that he no longer had use for.

Let's discuss the meaning of what Ha Torah Able brought from the very best of the first born sheep.

Able brought a choice Tribute. The Word Voo May Cheh Lih Vay Hehn is deep וּמֵחֶלְבֵהֶן because of it's meaning. The root Word has several meanings which apply in this Verse. Able brought a choice Tribute. Why was Able's Tribute considered a choice Tribute? First is because Able gave serious thought to his selection. Able's Gift to the Lord was not thrown together. Able's gift was contemplated, planned and carefully prepared. There are grades of cream, cheese and wool. Able's flocks were separated. Separation is a form of Holiness! The Bih Cohr, first born of Able's cattle were בְּכֹר separated from the other cattle. The quality of the produce from the first born cattle were graded and separated. This is a higher step of holiness. Then the highest quality of the produce was carefully prepared by Able to present as a Tribute to The Lord. Able prepared the finest cream, butter, cheese and wool. This was the highest step of separation / Holiness. It was for these reasons that Able's Tribute was honored and selected. It was not a sick mangy runt or from the poorest produce from his flocks. Ha Torah equates a firstborn to the Words Yaakov / Jacob Spoke to Reuvein his first born. Let's examine his words to get a better idea of the Scriptures intent regarding a first born.

One could also say rich cream or the fat of the Tribute because the spelling for rich cream and animal fat is the same. Yet we know it was not an animal sacrifice because the Word Minchato tells us this was a Tribute and therefore was not meat.

Abel kept his sheep chiefly for their wool (besides milk), for killing animals and eating them was forbidden... But why did the Torah say twice over, 'to Cain and to his offering and to Able and to his offering?'  We can explain this on the basis of Chazal's comment that [G-d Did Not] allow Adam to kill beasts or to consume their flesh. (He [Permitted] it only in Noah's time.)  Rabbi Zalman Sorotzkin, Insights In The Torah - Bereishis (Brooklyn, NY: Mesorah Publications, Ltd. First Edition, 1991), p33

What did The Creator Say to Cain?

The Creator Said, 'If you improve there is forgiveness..' Genesis 4.7 So we see the plan to receive forgiveness is to simply 'Improve'. However, part of improving is acknowledging the mistake. Take ownership for doing wrong. Cain would not take ownership for his sin. Therefore sin lay at his door and it consumed him. He died in his sins. He entered eternity in defiance to his sin. He perished!

Noach brought a 'Burnt Offering'. This is identified by the Word עלת Oh Loht which represents it was a bird or animal. When the Word Minchah is used it is not an animal. When the Word Oh Lam or Oh Loht are used it is an animal sacrifice.

Stone Edition

But if his means are insufficient for two turtledoves or for two young doves, then he shall bring, as his guilt-offering for that which he sinned, a tenth-ephah of fine flour for a sin-offering; he shall not place oil on it nor shall he put frankincense on it, for it is a sin-offering.  He shall bring it to the Kohen, and the Kohen shall scoop his threefingersful as its memorial portion and shall cause it to go up in smoke on the Altar, on the fires of Hashem; it is a sin offering.  The Kohen shall provide him atonement for the sin he committed regarding any of these, and it will be forgiven him; and it shall belong to the Kohen, like the meal-offering. Vayikra 5.11-13

King James Version

But if he be not able to bring two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he that sinned shall bring for his offering the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering; he shall put no oil upon it, neither shall he put any frankincense thereon: for it is a sin offering. Then shall he bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it, even a memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: it is a sin offering. And the priest shall make an atonement for him as touching his sin that he hath sinned in one of these, and it shall be forgiven him: and the remnant shall be the priest's, as a meat offering. Leviticus 5.11-13

New International Version

" 'If, however, he cannot afford two doves or two young pigeons, he is to bring as an offering for his sin a tenth of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering. He must not put oil or incense on it, because it is a sin offering.  He is to bring it to the priest, who shall take a handful of it as a memorial portion and burn it on the altar on top of the offerings made to the LORD by fire. It is a sin offering. In this way the priest will make atonement for him for any of these sins he has committed, and he will be forgiven. The rest of the offering will belong to the priest, as in the case of the grain offering.' " Leviticus 5.11-13

When man follows Ha Torah, Ha Torah atones for man.  How do we know this?  The Gematrias are the same.  The Torah is Perfect.  The Torah can and does atone for man.  So in the Observance of Torah we see the portrayal of atonement for man.

Vayikra 1.1 - 2

Leviticus 1.1 - 2

And He Called to Moses, and the Lord Said, to him from the Tent of Witness Saying, Speak to the People of Israel and say to them if Adam, [a man] among you brings an Offering to the Lord from animals, from the cattle, and from the sheep you shall bring everything from Aleph to Tav of your offering.

The ָןבּרְקָ Karbon / Offering is offered at a particular place. How do we know this? '...if Adam, [a man] among you brings an Offering to the Lord...' The Offering is brought to The Lord. Where is The Lord? The Lord Spoke to Moshe from the Tent of Witnesses. Any where will not do! In Leviticus the offering is offered at the entrance to the Mishkon / the Tabernacle. This is the place where the Presence of the Lord dwells. This teaches us that there is a place for our offerings. Before offerings were made at the entrance of the Holy Tabernacle offerings were made at the place of our formation. Tributes were originally made at the place where the Lord God Formed Adam and Eve from the dust of the ground. Vayikra 1.1 - 3

Leviticus 1.1 - 3

And He Called to Moses, and He the Lord Said, to him from the Tent of Witness Saying, Speak to the People of Israel and say to them [if Adam] If a man among you brings an Offering to the Lord from animals, from the cattle, and from the sheep you shall bring everything from Aleph to Tav of your offering.

[if Adam] If a man among you brings...

א1 ד4 ם40 כ20 י10 י10 ק100 ר200 י10 ב2 =397

From the cattle

מ40 ן50 ה5 ב2 ק100 ר200 = 397

Originally all the animals belonged to Adam. Our Sages point to Adam's ownership of all animals. Leviticus 1.2 is a reflection on Adam's ownership because it Says, '...if Adam among you brings...' We translate this is as '...if a man among you brings...' because we understand we must gain ownership of the animals from Adam. The second Gematria brings this point a little closer with the Words, 'From his animals'. Adam used to own the animals but now they are from some else's flock. The Torah Says 'from his animals'. This speaks of the ownership. Yet, Adam offered matzah. He brought Unleavened Bread to the Lord as his Tribute.

Individuals who have believed sin can only be forgiven with a blood sacrifice may now be entangled in confusion because the Truth of Genesis 4.3 - 5 is being revealed. Lets return to what David Said.

Psalms 51.17 - 19 / KJV - Psalms 51.15 - 17

'Oh Lord open my lips that my mouth may declare Your Praise. For You do not desire a sacrifice, else I would give it; a burnt offering You do not want. The Sacrifices God Desires are a broken Spirit; a heart broken and humbled, Oh God, You will not despise...'

King David Said, 'For You do not desire a Sacrifice, else I would give it; a Burnt Offering You do not want. King David is specifically speaking about a Sacrifice for his sin. He is speaking about a Burnt Offering for his sin. Dear

ones bringing a Sacrifice or a Burnt Offering does not eradicate one's sins. An individual may bring all the Sacrifices and Burnt Offerings they desire and they will NOT remove any sin if the individual is just going through a formality. Sin is forgiven by first being touched by what ones has done that is not correct... that is a mistake... that is an improper behavior... that is a sin... One has a broken Spirit. One realizes their Spirit is broken and needs repair. One is humbled by their improper action by their sin. Then one confesses their mistake to The Lord God, One makes a plan not to repeat their mistake, one offers restitution for their mistake. At this point the sinner is restored. Our Creator Instructed Cain to simply 'IMPROVE'. David taught us to acknowledge our sins to The Lord God. David taught us to be humble, i.e. to confess our errors to The Lord God. This is how sins are forgiven. This is the basis for receiving forgiveness for sin. Now let's examine the basis for this Teaching from Ha Torah.

Bereisheit 8.20

Genesis 8.20

And Noah built an altar to the Lord; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

Bereisheit 46.27

Genesis 46.27

And the sons of Joseph, who were born to him in Egypt, were two soul[s]; all the soul[s] of the house of Jacob, who came to Egypt, were seventy.

The point here is the word Soul is used when making reference to two souls and when making reference to seventy souls. two soul are 'One Soul'. Seventy Souls are 'One Soul' This Teaches that we are bound together. We are our brothers1keeper. We share the same bond. We share the same soul. Notice Leviticus 5.1 uses the same Word שֶׁנֶפ Nefesh / Soul as Genesis 46.27. In נֶפֶשׁ Genesis 46.27 all seventy souls are called one single soul. In part this is why on Yom Kippur we plead for our sins the sins our one soul has committed. Our Creator groups us together as if we each shared the same soul. So when we say 'If a soul sins' we are speaking both on an individual basis and a community basis. If one is poor they may gain atonement with an offering of a tenth-ephah of flour. NO BLOOD! Lets examine Leviticus 5.

Leviticus 5.1 - 13

1  And if a soul sins, and hears the voice of swearing, and is a witness, whether he has seen or known of it; if he does not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity. 2  Or if a soul touches any unclean thing, whether it is a carcass of an unclean beast, or a carcass of unclean cattle, or the carcass of unclean creeping things, and if it is hidden from him; he also shall be unclean, and guilty. 3  Or if he touches the uncleanness of man, whatever uncleanness it is that a man is defiled with, and it is hidden from him; when he knows of it, then he shall be guilty. 4  Or if a soul swears, pronouncing with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatever it is that a man shall pronounce with an oath, and it is hidden from him; when he knows of it, then he shall be guilty in one of these. 5  And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he has sinned in that thing; 6  And he shall bring his guilt offering to the Lord for his sin which he has sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a kid of the goats, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin. 7  And if his means are not sufficient for a sheep, then he shall bring everything from Aleph to Tav for his trespass, which he has committed, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, to the Lord; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering. 8  And he shall bring them to the priest, who shall offer that which is for the sin offering first, and wring off its head from its neck, but shall not divide it asunder; 9  And he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin offering upon the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be wrung out at the bottom of the altar; it is a sin offering. 10  And he shall offer the second for a burnt offering, according to the prescribed order; and the priest shall make an atonement for him for his sin which he has sinned, and it shall be forgiven him. 11  And if his means are not sufficient for the acquisition of two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he who sinned shall bring for his offering the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering; he shall put no oil upon it, nor shall he put any frankincense on it; for it is a sin offering. 12  Then shall he bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it, a memorial part of it, and burn it on the altar, according to the offerings made by fire to the Lord; it is a sin offering. 13  And the priest shall make an atonement for him in regard to his sin that he has sinned in one of these, and it shall be forgiven him; and the remnant shall be the priest's, as a Meal / Minchah Offering.

And if his means are not sufficient for a sheep

Today I went online to try and get an idea of how much sheep are selling for.  It has been decades since I lived on a farm and helped the family raise sheep. A young Ewe In the United States, a sheep weighing between 45 to 99 pounds may sell for $275.00. We are not taking into consideration the physical condition of the sheep or it's specific breed. Prices vary a lot. So how often could most of us afford $275.00 for our sins?  How often do we sin? Do we sin daily weekly or monthly? If we could purchase ritual pure sheep for just $100.00 each how much would this cost us? The point is clear.  Many would not be in a position to purchase sheep. This is why Ha Torah offers two turtledoves, or two young pigeons which are more affordable. Yet even $5.00 or $10.00 could be a lot. This is why we may offer a Minchah Offering / A flower Offering. Notice the last two Words of Leviticus 5.13.

Bereisheit 4.4

Genesis 4.4

And Abel also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat of it. And the Lord had respect for Abel and for his offering;

Vayikra 5.13

Leviticus 5.13

13  And the priest shall make an atonement for him in regard to his sin that he has sinned in one of these, and it shall be forgiven him; and the remnant shall be Meal / Minchah Offering.

Genesis 4. 5

Leviticus 5.15

Having shared this I would like to point out one of the origins for the false teachings regarding blood sacrifice. If one takes a careful look at the book of Hebrews which is part of  The Christian Writings the following is stated:

Hebrews 9:22
And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

The fact is most sin offering offered by individuals are Minchah Offerings!

For whatever reason the 'ALMOST' is often missed... I have offered many examples where blood is not required to purge sin as discussed in this chapter. Our concluding point is this our Creator has always had a plan for sin.  The plan is simple. 'IMPROVE!' Our Creator's plan has nothing to do with a savior or murdering a man at Passover. We acknowledge our sin. We make a plan to change. We offer restitution. We improve. When we die we go to heaven. We do not need to worry about hell. Instead we should concern ourselves with Obedience. Judaism places the emphasis on a loving Creator who deeply cares about all His Creation. Everyone is important to the Lord. This is how salvation is received and maintained.

Genesis 23.1

And it was the lifetime of Sarah, one hundred years, and twenty years and seven years, [These were the] years of Sarah's life.

Parshat Chayei Sarah begins with the words Vah Yeeh Yoo- Chah Yay Sarah, meaning, and it was the lifetime of Sarah. One should inquire, what was the lifetime of Sarah? In so doing they would find these three words reveal rich treasures. The Gematria of Vah Yeeh Yoo - Chah Yay Sarah is 570. Why is 570 so special? There are many Gematrias of 570.

This was the lifetime of Sarah

ו6י10ה5י10ו6 ח8י10י10 ש300ר200ה5 = 570

Shema [Yisroel]

ש300י10ן50 מ40ם40 ע70י10ן50 = 570

To Be Rich

ע70 ש300 ר200 = 570

The number 570 represents the lifetime of Sarah our Matriarch and richness. Sarah Emeinu / our mother's, lifetime was one of great wealth. Her life was filled with richness.

Shlomo Ha Melech / King Soloman said, An accomplished wife who can find? Far beyond [rich] pearls is her value. Mishlei / Proverbs 31.10

Our sages Teach Sarah's tent was Sarah's Temple. Sarah Emeinue brought Holiness into her home. Her home was no ordinary tent. It had extraordinary qualities: A cloud [the Shekinah] of Holiness [resting over it], doors which proclaimed their openness to all passers-by, a blessing in her dough, a Sabbath lamp that remained lit all week long. These miracles were not Abraham's doing; they ceased with Sarah's death. Rabbi Meir Zlotowitz and Rabbi Nosson Scherman, The Artscroll Tanach Series - Bereisheit Vol. I(b) (Brooklyn, New York: Mesorah Publications, Ltd. 3rd Impression, 1989), p 832

The Shekinah over Sarah's Home represented that this was a holy home. God's Presence Rested over it. The home was protected! There were special blessings of satisfaction in Sarah's dough that flowed out to the entire community. Just as the bread of the Bet HaMikdosh / the Holy Temple Brought prosperity and abundance to B'nei Yisroel, so did Sarah's bread. Sarah's Esau candles represented spiritual growth that would begin with each Erev Esau and last all week. When Sarah died all of these vanished. With Sara's death the Cloud of Glory over the tent vanished, the blessing in the dough ceased, and the candle that had burnt in the tent from one Erev Sabbath to the next was extinguished. Rabbi Moshe Weissman, The Midrash Says (Brooklyn, New York: Benei Yakov Publications 1980), p. 210

When Sarah lived a cloud covered her tent; when she died, the cloud left. When Rebekah came, the cloud returned. When Sarah lived, the doors to her tent were wide open. When Sarah died the liberal giving ceased. When Rebekah came, the liberal giving returned. When Sarah lived, there was blessing upon her dough. The Sabbath candle / oil burn from the evening of the Sabbath until the evening of the following Sabbath. When Sarah died, these ceased. When Rebekah came they returned. Rabbi Dr. H. Freedman, Midrash Rabba Genesis II (New York, NY: The Soncino Press 1983) p 538

Bereisheit 25.1

Genesis 25.1

And He, Avraham again took his wife and her name was Keturah.

Our Sages Teach that Avraham took Hagar whose name was changed to Keturah because here deeds were as beautiful / spiritual as קְטֹרֶת incense. Incense rises to the Heavens like one's Spirit. The root for קטר means incense, smoke and to shut one's self in, to enclose. Because of Hagar's attitude she became known as Keturah, the lady with a Spirit like incense or the lady who secluded herself to remain true to her husband. Keturah was was well thought of because she did not seek a divorce from Avraham. And Avraham did not grant Hagar a divorce. The Torah Portion of the Bible Says, וַיְשַׁלְּחֶהָ Vah Yih Shah Lih Cheh Caw, meaning 'And he sent her away.' Hagar was lost without her husband, Avraham. Ha Torah does NOT Say Avraham divorced Hagar. Sarah did not say to Avraham divorce Hagar. Sarah Said,

Genesis 21.10

[Sarah] Said to Avraham, 'Drive out this slave woman and everything from Aleph to Tav of her son for the son of this slave woman will not inherit with my son with Yitzchok.'

We have NO indication that Avraham divorced Hagar. Our Creator Said to Avraham,

Genesis 21.12

Elohim Said to Avraham, 'Do not consider this wrong in your eyes on account of the boy and your slave woman. Regarding all that Sarah tells you listen to her. For through Yitzchok will seed be considered yours.

The Gematria of וַיִּקַּח אִשָּׁה Vah Yee Kah Ach - Ee Shaw, meaning and he took is 430. The Gematria of נֶפֶשׁ Neh Pehsh / Nefesh meaning 'Soul' is 430. When one takes a wife Mystically we observe he is connecting with a soul. His wife is his Soulmate. How does one know He / she are soul mates? The fact is we are each from the same soul given to us by our Parents of Creation. Still the concept of one's SoulMate being the perfect one... the exact match... the correct fit... is correct. One must understand that perfection is received through marriage. Marriage is an institute where by the husband and wife help to polish the other into what our Creator Intends. The husband and wife work together to form a holy relationship to have a Holy Family with Holy children. The work together to be the single soul God Created them as.

Vah Yee Kah Ach - Ee Shaw, and he took

ו6 י10 ק100 ח8 - א1 ש300 ה5 = 430

Neh Pehsh / Nefesh 'Soul'

נ50 פ80 ש300 = 430

Remember: THERE IS A CHOICE! A man or woman's intent is VERY IMPORTANT. The purpose of taking each other is NOT for just physical sexual pleasure. The Marriage relationship is intended by our Creator to be one of Holiness. Our Creator Blessed the marriage relationship. He did NOT Bless the one night sexual fling!!

Sarah was noted as Avram's Wife. This is an elevated place. Bereisheit 16.2

Ha Torah Says, 'And Sarai, Avram's wife took... Why does Ha Torah inform us Sarai was Avram's wife? We already know this. Why not say Sarah took. Why was it necessary to point out Sarah was Avram's wife again? Ha Torah Informs us that Sarai took Hagar to be Avram's wife in Genesis 16.3.

[Avram's] Wife / His Wife

א1 ש300 ת400 = 701

To Elevate... To Rise...

ש300 א1 ת400 = 701

For a Husband and Wife to reach the lofty Mystical place of being a SoulMate requires elevating the relationship. It requires raising the relationship. Being a 'SoulMate' is not physical. Being a 'SoulMate' is Spiritual!

We continue with several additional points of importance.

What did Avraham do?

He got up early in the morning. Whenever we see Avraham facing a great difficulty we observe these three Words, See Genesis 19.27; 21.14 and 22.3. The first Letter of each Word combined spells שֹׁאֵב Shoh Ayv, meaning to draw as in to draw strength or as in to draw water (Devarim 29.10) which Mystically means to draw strength from Ha Torah. Sending Yishmael and Hagar away was troubling for Avraham but he did it first thing in the morning. Watching Sedom burn was troubling for Avraham. He arose early in the morning with the hopes there were ten righteous in Sedom. Avraham counted, Lot, Lot's wife, Lot's two married daughters and their husbands, Lot's two daughters who were yet to consummate their marriage and their husbands, a total of 10. When Avraham saw the smoke from the fire it was troubling to him. He felt great anxiety. Avraham arose early to travel to the place where he would offer Yitzchok as an offering. Why? This was deeply troubling to him. Voo Vih Tzraw Rawh, meaning 'And with trouble.' From this we learn that Avraham faced his troubles in the morning. Avraham would draw from the Wells of Torah for Strength. The morning was Avraham's time for prayer. Avraham would seek הָרַחֲמִים Haw Rah Chah Meem, meaning the Mercy [of The Lord]. The Gematria of שֹׁאֵב Shoh Ayv, meaning to draw {from the waters of Ha Torah] is 303. The Gematria of וּבְצָרָה Voo Vih Tzraw Rawh, meaning 'And with trouble.' is 303. The Gematria of הָרַחֲמִים Haw Rah Chah Meem, meaning the Mercy [of The Lord] is 303.

Shoh to draw {from the waters of Ha Torah]

ש300 א1 ב2 = 303

Voo Vih Tzraw Rawh, 'And with trouble.'

ו6 ב2 צ90 ר200 ה5 = 303

Haw Rah Chah Meem, the Mercy [of The Lord]

ה5 ר200 ח8 מ40 י10 ם40 = 303

We have discussed how Avraham faced issues that deeply troubled him. Now lets return to considering what a SoulMate is. We have established that The Torah Portion of the Bible does not Say Avraham divorced Hagar. This means they remained married. They remained separated for 38 years. How do we know this? Yitzchok was weaned when Yishmael mocked him, Genesis 21.8 - 14. Our Sages Teach this was after 24 months which is the customary time for a child to suckle, Gittin 75b; Kesuvot 60b. Yitzchok was 40 years of age when he married Rivkah, Genesis 25.20. It was immediately after this Avraham again took his wife Hagar whose name became Keturah.

Bereisheit 25.1

Genesis 25.1

And He, Avraham again took his wife and her name was Keturah.

I understand אִשְׁתּוֹ is the Word for 'His Wife. Because אִשָּׁה is used the translation would normally would be 'Wife' or 'A Wife'. However Keturah was already Avraham's wife. Therefore this usage means something entirely different than what meets the eye. When Avraham married Hagar she was Sarah's Servant. Notice the Wording carefully!!

In Genesis 25.1 Ha Torah Informs us that Avraham took again. Does this mean He took Sarah and now he was taking a wife again? Or does this mean Avram had already taken Hagar and was taking her back again? The Answer has to do with Sarai was the wife of Avram. Hagar was a wife to Avram but not אֵשֶׁת 'his wife' because she belonged to Sarai. This changed when Avram sent Hagar out from his home. Hagar was free. She was no longer Avram's responsibility to care for as a slave. As a result he only gave her bread and water, i.e. Mystically Ha Torah to live on.

Exodus 21.7 -

And if a man sells his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the menservants do. If she pleases not her master, who has designated her for himself, then shall he let her be redeemed; to sell her to a strange nation he shall have no power, seeing he has dealt deceitfully with her. And if he has betrothed her to his son, he shall deal with her as with a daughter. If he takes for himself another wife; her food, her garment, and her duty of marriage, shall he not diminish. And if he does not do these three things to her, then shall she go out free without payment of money.

Thirty eight years pass. Sarah dies. Yitzchok marryies Rivkah. At this point Avraham again takes Hagar. We know it is Hagar because of several Words that are used.

First is וַיֹּסֶף אַבְרָהָם and again Avraham took a wife...

Second is וַיִּקַּח אִשָּׁה 'And he took a wife.' Ha Torah Uses this language to point out this was Hagar, a wife. In Ha Torah 'A Wife' who is owned as a servant is not like a wife that is free. Hagar was NOT אֵשֶׁת אַבְרָם a wife of Avram. Hagar was Sarai's bond maiden. Hagar was a servant wife. She was owned by Sarai. So Sarai gave Hagar to her husband Avram to be a wife not to be אֵשֶׁת אַבְרָם a wife of Avram. So when we see Ha Torah Say וַיֹּסֶף אַבְרָהָם וַיִּקַּח אִשָּׁה 'And He, Avraham again took his wife...' We understand this is in reference to Hagar, 'a wife.' Our Sages point out that Hagar's / Keturah's status is still that of a concubine, i.e. a wife who status is lower than אֵשֶׁת אַבְרָם 'His Wife', Genesis 25.6. Rabbi Avrohom Davis, The Mesudah Chumash A New Linear Translation Bereishis (Hoboken New Jersey, KTVA Publishing House, Inc., 1991) p 267

The Torah portion of the Bible Teaches a man may have more than one wife at the same time. While a Wife may only have one Husband. Why? Does this seem equal? Is this fair? This is not an issue of fairness or equality. It is an issue of mixing seed which is prohibited by the Creator. Now, we are also required to abide by the laws where we reside. Laws that prohibit polygamy must be followed.

Genesis 5.1

This is the Book of Generations of Adam [singular] in the day God Created [singular] Adam [singular]. With [Spiritual] likeness, God made them [plural] .

Genesis  5.2

Male and Female He Created [plural] and Blessed them [plural] and He Called everything from Aleph to Tav of their name [plural] Adam [singular] in the day they were Created [plural].

Adam and Eve were created in one physical body [then separated later the same day]. They were Created in the Lord God's Spiritual Image as were the Angels. God does not have a physical body. Pharaoh defined this when he said in regards to Joseph, And Pharaoh said to his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is? Genesis 41.38

The writer John said,

God is a Spirit and they that worship him must worship him in Spirit and in truth, John 4:24.

Genesis 1.26

And He Said [singular] God [plural] Let us Make Adam in our image [plural] in our likeness [plural] and let them rule [plural] fish in the waters and birds in the heavens and with all animals in the earth and with all creeping on the earth.

Who was God Speaking with?  The Sages say the Angels.

Genesis 1.27

And He [singular], God [plural] Created [singular] everything from the Letter Aleph to the Letter Tav of Ha Adam / the man [singular] in His Form [singular] in His Form [singular] God [plural] Created [singular] them [plural] male / masculine and female / feminine He Created [singular] them [plural].

Here we Observe that God Created [singular]. They did not create anything.

Genesis 2.27

And He [singular] The Lord [singular] God [Plural - used as singular] Formed [singular] everything from Aleph to Tav of Ha Adam / Adam and Eve from dust of the ground and He [singular] blew into the nostrils the Soul of Life and it happened Ha Adam / The Man became a living Soul.

The Midrash Says, Adam's physical creation was twofold, male and female in one body.  In front he was a man, but attached to him in back was a woman. Rabbi Moshe Weissman, The Midrash Says (Brooklyn, New York:  Benei Yakov Publications 1980), p. 33

Right from the beginning God Created 'mankind' male and female, with equal Godliness and of equal worth.  Neither was more in the likeness of God than the other, both were given the same Blessing by God, both together were given the name 'Adam'...And He Called them Man on the day they were created - i.e., He Called both of them Man - including Eve - because her formation was from the man, individually, however, she was called Eve (R. Meyuchas).

Harav David Cohen points out that male and female components were originally created in the single body of Adam (Eruvin 18a).  Thus, when God Named him Adam, it was implicit that his female part - which was later to become a separate human being - was also called Adam, because male and female were two halves of one whole. Rabbi Meir Zlotowitz and Rabbi Nosson Scherman, The Artscroll Tanach Series - Bereishis Vol. I(a) (Brooklyn, New York: Mesorah Publications, Ltd. 3rd Impression, 1989), p 167

R' Yirmiyah ben Elazar Said... - The first man [Adam] had, i.e. he was created with two facial figures.  The back was later separated to form the first woman, Eve...  - As it states (Psalms 139.5) [From the] back the front You Have Formed me.

The Gemara cites a dispute concerning the appendage from which Eve was fashioned...

It is Written (Genesis 2.22): Then the Lord, God, built the side that He Had Taken from the man into woman...  Rav Shmuel disputed the meaning of this verse... - One Said the side referred to was a figure, i.e. man was created as a double figure, a male figure and a female figure joined back to back.  The female figure was later removed to form Eve. Talmud - Eruvin 18a

(Genesis 5.2) He Created them male and female, which indicates  that humans were created from the very first both male and female...

The Gemara Explains:

This verse can be explained as [taught by] R' Abahu... For R' Abahu contrasted the two Verses:

[1] He Created them male and female, referring to man's creation in the plural, indicating that both man and woman were created at the same time; but it is also written...

[2] In the image of God He Created him, referring to man's creation in the singular, [possibly] indicating that only man was created originally, not woman... [In actuality the one [Eve] was fashioned from the first [one Adam]].

Genesis 2.18

And the Lord God Said it is not good for Ha Adam [ the man - which at that time include Adam and Eve ] to be alone.  I will fashion a help mate like [him] opposite [him].

Wife / Ee Shaw

To Make to Fashion

עשה

The Hebrew Letter ע Ayin Represents sight or insight... Our Creator Formed the wife with sight / insight.

The word Eeh Shaw meaning wife has the Letter Aleph א which may be exchanged for the Letter ע Ayin. One must question the use of the word him when we know in fact it is them.  Adam and Eve are in one shared body that is referred to as him in Genesis 5.1, 2.

We see that our Creator Endorses some separation of husband and wife.  He Separated them. He Created them.

Originally Adam and Eve were one body and one soul.  Then they were divided.  They were separated.  Up until this point we know they were in agreement or they could not function.  However after they were separated they each had their own individual choices.  The Word כְּנֶגְדּוֹ Cih Neg Doh means like him [but] opposite of him.  This means Eve was opposite of him sexually.  This also means that Adam was like Eve and that Eve was like Adam.  She was created like him.  HOWEVER if Adam would stray from the original Adam, i.e. the created Adam, then Eve would no longer be like the strayed Adam she would be opposite him.

Genesis 2.21

The Lord God Caused a deep sleep to fall on Ha Adam, the man. [Both Adam and Eve were asleep.  Both were not conscious.]  the Lord God Took from the being... the double figure that was Ha Adam, [i.e. Adam and Eve] and closed the flesh in its place.

When our Creator Takes a woman from a man there is a wound left afterwards. The Torah Says that [He] closed over the flesh in its place. Anytime a couple separates there is a wound.  The man has a wound and the woman has a wound. Make no mistake there is a wound that requires closing. The time required for closing is different for each of us.  The Word  וַיִּסְגֹּר Vah Yee Sih Gohr means to lock, to close, to shut, to enclose, to bolt shut...  When a relationship ends when togetherness ends when sharing ends, when loving ends IT IS PAINFUL!!  The flesh must be closed over.

This next part is AMAZING!! It is תַּחְתֶּנָּה Tah Chih Teh Nawh meaning to close over.  However the translation does not explain what is at the core of closing over.  The shoresh (root) of  תַּחְתֶּנָּה Tah Chih Teh Nawh is חתן Chah Tawn meaning to wed.  The point is that marriage heals the wound of what one has lost.  So while one requires sometime to adjust after being separated from one's mate the real closing of separation comes with MARRIAGE of a new mate - not a relationship. A man needs a wife for balance. A woman needs a husband for balance. Together husband and wife possess the ability to be equal.

Genesis 2.22

And He, the Lord God, Built everything from the Letter Aleph to the Letter Tav from the side that He took from Ha Adam into [the most beautiful] wife and brought her to Adam [the man no longer the couple].

Our Creator who fashioned Eve built from everything from the Letter Aleph to the Letter Tav from the side that He took from Ha Adam.  The result had to be the best of the best.  We notice from the Gematria of 68 for the Word וַיִּבֶן Vah Yee Vehn meaning, to build up. By building up the the material He took from Adam our Creator provided חַיִּים Chah Yeem meaning Life, and יָחֹן Yaw Choon meaning Favor, Beauty, and חֲכַם Chah Cahm meaning Wisdom to Eve.  This was not just for Eve's benefit. It was for all of our good.  Our Creator Breathed Life into lifeless clay then our Creator fashioned life out of Adam's side.

Dear Ones both Adam and Eve were created equal.  Both were Created at the same time. Both Adam and Eve came from the same body. The body changed when the Lord God Took Eve from Adam. At the time of their separation Adam needed a wife and Eve needed a husband.  Neither was equal any longer. Adam needed what Eve had and Eve needed what Adam had. Together they were equal. Separated neither were equal! The flesh from where they were separated needed to be closed over and was healed. This happened when Adam and Eve wed.

May each mate within marriage be sensitive to the other.  May each mate seek out the advice of their mate.  May each of us realize the great value and blessing of our mate!

Showing Respect

Question:

Rodrigo Ferreira Reis asked the following: Hi. I was watching your videos and i realize that you call Jesus Rabbi. Why do you call him Rabbi?

Shalom and Todah.

Laila Tov

Christians With QuestionsDear Ones,

First this is a position that I have just recently come to terms with. I use to call Rabbi Jesus by his first name as many do in the Christian Writings. However, I have repented of my error. And am working on changing my behavior. Even though I am not a Christian or a follow of Rabbi Jesus this does not permit me to show disrespect. The Christian Writings teach that Rabbi Jesus was a Rabbi. He was a Rabbi Of Israel. So even though I do not believe Rabbi Jesus is the Messiah or the son of God or God it is not proper for me to be disrespectful.

King David Wrote:

2 Samuel 1.1 - 19

1  And it came to pass after the death of Saul, when David returned from the slaughter of the Amalekites, and David had stayed two days in Ziklag; 2  It came to pass on the third day, that, behold, a man came from the camp from Saul with his clothes torn and earth upon his head; and so it was, when he came to David, that he fell to the earth, and bowed down. 3  And David said to him, From where do you come? And he said to him, From the camp of Israel have I escaped. 4  And David said to him, How went the matter? I beg you, tell me. And he answered, The people have fled from the battle, and many of the people also have fallen and dead; and Saul and Jonathan his son are dead also. 5  And David said to the young man who told him, How do you know that Saul and Jonathan his son are dead? 6  And the young man who told him said, As I happened by chance upon Mount Gilboa, behold, Saul leaned upon his spear; and, behold, the chariots and horsemen followed hard after him. 7  And when he looked behind him, he saw me, and called me. And I answered, Here am I. 8  (K) And he said to me, Who are you? And I answered him, I am an Amalekite. 9  And he said to me, Stand, I beg you, upon me, and slay me; for agony has come upon me, and yet I still have life in me. 10  So I stood beside him, and slew him, because I was sure that he could not live after he was fallen; and I took the crown that was upon his head, and the bracelet that was on his arm, and have brought them here to my lord. 11  Then David took hold of his clothes, and tore them; and likewise all the men who were with him; 12  And they mourned, and wept, and fasted until the evening, for Saul, and for Jonathan his son, and for the people of the Lord, and for the house of Israel; because they had fallen by the sword. 13  And David said to the young man who told him, Where are you from? And he answered, I am the son of a stranger, an Amalekite. 14  And David said to him, How were you not afraid to stretch forth your hand to destroy the Lord's anointed? 15  And David called one of the young men, and said, Go near, and fall upon him. And he struck him that he died. 16  And David said to him, Your blood be upon your head; for your mouth has testified against you, saying, I have killed the Lord's anointed. 17  And David lamented with this lamentation over Saul and over Jonathan his son; 18  And he said To teach the sons of Judah the use of the bow; behold, it is written in the book of Jasher. 19  The beauty, O Israel, is slain upon your high places; how are the mighty fallen!.

I followed the path of disrespect in part because of how The Christian Writings make reference to Rabbi Jesus. Yet, regardless of what Christians do in their writings this does not free me from doing what I believe to be right. Now here is what I find most amazing. Christians call Rabbi Jesus by his first name even though they believe his name is highly exalted above every name in the world. Christians call Rabbi Jesus by his first name even though they believe he is the Messiah which means 'Anointed' [of The Lord.] Christians call Rabbi Jesus by his first name even though they believe believe Rabbi Jesus is the son of The Lord God. Christians call Rabbi Jesus by his first name even though they believe Rabbi Jesus is God. Now I do not believe any of these claims yet I do believe in respect.

There is no excuse to be disrespectful.

What's In A Name? What's In A Word?

Bnai Elohim / Sons of God

In our textbook we discus The Lord God and the angels Shamchazzi and Azael discussing man.  Angels are required to do exactly as the Creator Wishes. On the other hand, humankind has free will and chooses either to do the Wishes of the Lord God or to do something else. Shamchazzi and Azael were saying how easy it was for humankind. They wanted to prove they could live as humans and not sin... At their request the Lord God Granted that they  could have Free Will and that they could live on earth with humankind. In the Gematria for this chapter we Observe how they failed...

Psalms 8.5 - 7

What is man, that you are mindful of him? And the son of man, that you visit him?  For you have made him a little lower than the angels, and have crowned him with glory and honor.   You made him to have dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet;

Bereisheit 6.1,2

Genesis 6.1,2

And it came to pass, [the descendants of] Ha Adam sexually profaned, to increase [their way] on the face of the earth, daughters were born to them. And they the sons of God [Shamchazzi and Azael] saw everything from Aleph to Tav of the daughters of  [the descendants of] Ha Adam For they were good; and they took for themselves as wives from all they chose.

First the descendants of Ha Adam, i.e. the children of Adam and Eve did evil. They sexually profaned.

Second, the sons of God, i.e.  the angels Shamchazzi and Azael took human wives and and sinned with them. They mixed angelic seed with human seed. Strange children were born. And in so doing they brought destruction upon the entire earth.

What Makes A Man the Perfect Husband?

Weekly Gematria Video

Bereisheit 25.9

Genesis 25.9

And the boys grew up. And it happened, Eisov was a cunning man, a hunter, a man of the field and Yaakov was a man without fault dwelling in the tents [of learning].

The Torah Portion of the Bible is Speaking about the time when the boys turned thirteen. Each became a man. Notice the use of the Words אִישׁ Eesh. Eisov is described as a 'cunning man'. Mystically he knew the way of wisdom. Ha Torah is Informing us that Eisov valued Wisdom. With Eisov everything was a guarded calculation based upon his accumulated knowledge. Ha Torah is Informing us that Eisov was a wise man at the age of thirteen. He knew how to confuse others. He knew how to trick others. He was skilled in achieving what he wanted by using deceit or through evasion, i.e. indirect answers. However in addition to Yoh Day Ah can also mean to know one sexually.

We have the Eisov type men. They give the appearance that they are on the path to Ha Torah but what they do shows otherwise. They use Torah Wisdom to only benefit them self and to take advantage of others.

Eesh - Yoh Day Ah

Lih Ha Seh Ceel

the path to Wisdom

ל30 ה5 ש300 כ20 י10 ל30 = 395

There is reason The Torah Portion of the Bible describes Eisov with the Word Eesh in two different ways. It is like Eisov had two different faces. He has the good inclination and the evil inclination. When we Observe Eisov the man who is described as a farmer we see a man who has gone through a cleansing but still struggles with his impure and evil nature. He says he is going to kill his brother. This is the evil nature. He does not kill his brother. This is the good nature. He is going to meet his brother with 400 servants. His intent seems to be evil yet he hugs his brother and invites him to travel with him. Now we know that even though we see this Gematria shows the clean good side of Eisov we realize he has a very bad side. The Gematria for אִישׁ שָׂדֶה Eesh - Saw Deh, meaning, A Man of the Field, A Farmer is 620. The Gematria for being pure is 620.

We have the Eisov type men. They give the appearance that they are clean and pure but what they do shows otherwise. They use Torah as a cover for their actions.

Now lets look at Yaakov. Ha Torah Says Yaakov at the age of manhood, i.e. thirteen was a man without fault. Tawm means perfect yet we do not translate Yaakov as being Perfect. Now, in comparison Ha Torah Says Noach at the age or 600 was a righteous man perfect in his generation... There are three important points.

First

When The Torah portion of the Bible Says, Noach was a righteous man, perfect... this was when Noach was 600 years old. His life of righteousness and perfection were well established over a very long period of time. He was Observed for 600 years. This says a great deal for Noach. In comparison, Yaakov's life was Observed in Ha Torah for only 13 years at the time of this witness.

Second Noach was married. This means that he was perfect in his marriage. Noach was a father. He was perfect in his relationship to his sons and daughter-in-laws. Yaakov was not married. He did not have any children.

Third, the Word תָּם Tawm also means to be finished to be complete. Is Ha Torah Saying Yaakov was finished, i.e. [Spiritually] complete 134 years before he died? I think Ha Torah is saying Yaakov has gone as far as he can as a single man can. He needs a wife. He needs children. He needs relatives. How do we know this? The Gematria of 10י Yud and ם40 Mem equal 50. The Yud and the Mem are missing from the end of the Word תָּם Tawm. When we Observe the Word used for perfection in Noach's life the Yud and the Mem are present.

The Gematria of תָּם Tawm is 440. The Gematria of תָּמִים is 490. Why is this significant? At 13 Yaakov is תָּם Tawm a Gematria of 440. At the age of sixty three , i.e. 50 years later Yaakov leaves home to begin his pursuit of a wife, children and relatives. In addition one could say Yaakov was perfect of without fault in one area of his single life while as Noach was perfect in every area of his life. By adding the י Yud ם Mem to the end of Tam one could argue in multiple levels of perfection.

Yaakov did not rush into marriage as did Eisov. Yaakov was 77 years of age when he married Leah and Rochel. Yaakov did not begin his search for a wife until he was 63. 13 + 50 = 63 It was at the age of 63 that Yitzchok, his father instructed him, '...Arise, go to Padan-Aram, to the house of Bethuel your mother's father; and take a wife from there of the daughters of Laban your mother's brother', Genesis 28.2.

From Yitzchok's Blessing we learn that he ratified his original Blessing. He did not consider himself tricked. His second Blessing was of his own free will. Yitzchok's instruction also indicates his disapproval of Eisov's actions of marrying Canaanite women. He instructed Yaakov to not to take a wife from the Canaanite women. He instructed Yaakov to take a wife from Lavan, his mother's brother. He did as his father instructed.

Soul Mate

Ha Torah is Teaching Women who are not Jewish to marry a non-Jewish man. Marry a Noachide man. Your soulMate is a Noachide man. There are many very good Noachide men.

Ha Torah is Teaching Jewish men not to marry a non Jewish woman. A Jewish man's SoulMate is a Jewish Woman.

We are going to look at the Mispar Katan of

Eesh Tawm, A man without fault, this week. God Willing in Parshat Vayishlach we will pick this discussion again.

Another Mispar Katan is קָדָשִׁים Kaw Daw Sheem, Kadoshem, meaning Holiness. Or many holinesses.

A good husband is Holy. This mean he Observes the Mitzvot of Ha Torah. It is the Observance of the Mitzvot that separate him, that dedicate, him that cause him to be moral and of Spiritual Excellence. He respect the rights of his wife and others in accordance with The Lord God's Commands. This is the real difference between the Eisov's and Yaakov's of the world.

Ah Vee

Father [ like ]

א1 ב2 י10 = 13

א - He should love God

ב - He should have a House

י - He should be strong in Observances of Torah

Ah Hay Vawh

Love - Tenderness... Gentleness... Kindness... Deep Devotion... Sensitivity to pain... Affection... Physical expressions of feeling...

א1 ה5 ב2 ה2 = 13

The Letter ה Hey is found twice in אֲהֵבָהּ Ah Hay Vawh / Love because the greatest part of being loving is being like the Lord. The comment, 'Love is Divine' is 100% accurate. Be slow to anger. Be gracious. Be long suffering.. be gentle... be faithful... be merciful.

We know that Yaakov loved Rochel so much that he worked fourteen years. The first seven years, '... seemed to him, like a few days because he loved her so much.'

Zeh Vehd, A choice gift... A precious gift... To bestow upon..., to endow with...

ז7 ב2 ד4 = 13

Echad... to be one

א1 ח8 ד4 = 13

A husband must be one with his wife. He must be extremely sensitive to her needs... to her wants... to her desires... to her conversation... to her soft spoken words... to her tears... to her shouts... to her frustrations...

Yaakov had four wives. He was the husband to the wife he loved, Rochel. He was the husband to the wife he hated, Leah. He was the husband to a concubine wife, Bilhah the half sister of Rochel. He was the husband to a concubine wife, Zilpah the half sister of Leah. He was buried with Leah in the cave of Machpeilah.

Our Parshat begins with Yitzchok pleading to HaShem for children.

Genesis 25.20, 21

And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah for his wife, the daughter of Bethuel the Aramean of Padan-Aram, the sister to Laban the Aramean.  And Isaac prayed to the Lord for his wife, because she was barren; and the Lord granted his prayer, and Rebekah his wife conceived.

Our Gematria Parshat begins with Isaac taking Rebekah as his wife. He was forty years old. Rebekah was three years old.  Isaac was born when Abraham was 100 years old in 2048 From Creation.  Rebekah was born in 2095 F. C.  This was the year of the Akidiah  when Abraham took Isaac up Mt Moriah to be offered as a sacrifice. How do we know this?

The Torah Says Abraham was 10 years older than Sarah his wife. [Abraham said, '...Shall a child be born to him who is a hundred years old? and shall Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear? - Genesis 17.17

The Torah Says Sarah was 127 years when she died. Genesis 23.1-2.

The ages are based upon Bereisheit 23.1.  Sarah is 127, Avraham is 137 and Yitzchok is 37.  It is immediately after the Akeidah that Avraham 'was informed [by HaShem] that his son's mate had been born. This is in accordance with Genesis 22.20-24. 'And it came to pass after these things, that it was told Abraham, saying, Behold, Milcah, she has also born children to your brother Nahor... and Bethuel fathered Rebekah...' Rabbi Dr. H. Freedman, Midrash Rabba (New York, NY: The Soncino Press 1983) - Midrash Rabbah writes, Tamar was the daughter of Shem. p 504

It is at this chronological time Abraham is informed of the birth of Rebekah. The soul of Sarah transmigrates to Rebekah. This is how in part we know that Rebekah was 3 years old when Isaac was 40 years old. In addition Genesis 24.16 provides more information

Bereisheit 25.22,23

Genesis 25.22,23

And they crushed [and bruised and struggled] the sons inside her, and when this happened she questioned why is this happening to me?  And she went to inquire from Aleph to Tav about this from HaShem.  Bereisheit 25.22

And He Said HaShem to her, 'Two nations are in your womb and two peoples will separate from within you and to one people will be fullness [and great] boldness and the great will serve the junior.' Bereisheit 25.23

This historical event we are discussing was in the year 2098 F.C.

For those in the 21st century this will seem strange. It maybe strange for people in the 21st century but it was common for people living in

Bereisheit 24.16

Genesis 24.16

And the girl [damsel] was very pretty to look upon, a virgin, and no man had known her; [i.e. she had not practiced unnatural intimacy] and she went down to the well, and filled her vessel and came up.

Genesis 24.16. KJV uses the word damsel.  See Strong's reference # 5291, (a girl from infancy to adolescence).   It is immediately after the Akeidah that Avraham 'was informed [by HaShem] that his son's soulmate [Rebekah] had been born. This is in accordance with Genesis 22.20 And it came to pass after these things, that it was told Abraham, saying, Behold, Milcah, she has also born children to your brother Nahor... and Bethuel fathered Rebekah...' Rabbi Dr. H. Freedman, Midrash Rabba (New York, NY: The Soncino Press 1983) - Midrash Rabbah writes, Tamar was the daughter of Shem. p 504

Yitzchok and Rivkah did not consummate their marriage until she was twelve or thirteen. This means nine years passed.  Rebekah was now 12 and Isaac was 49 years of age. It was at this time that they consummated their marriage. Then they have no children after ten years of a normal husband wife relationship. Instead of taking a second wife as his Father Avraham did Isaac prays for his wife to have children. Within the next year they had a child see Bereisheit 25.21 - 26.  Isaac was sixty years of age and Rebekah was 23 years of age.

The girl.. Vih Hah Nah Ah Raw Rivkah was only three.    See Bereisheit 24.16. Her mother and brother refer to Rivkah as לנערה Lah Hah Nah Ah Raw, the girl. See Bereisheit 24.57.  They felt she was attached to her present family.  They felt she was too young to leave home even though boys and girls then, were much different than they are today.  They were more developed.  They were more intelligent.  They worked from a very young age.  To verify this consider, Yaakov's children.  All in all five references in Ha Torah refer to Rivkah as a young girl.

Yaakov's oldest child Reuben, who was born after Yaakov had worked for Laban for seven years, kept the flock for his father, which was a three-day journey away.  Ha Torah states, He gave them [the sheep] to his sons, Bereisheit 30.35.  Ha Torah states, He [Yaakov] placed them a three days journey [away], Bereisheit 30.36.  How old were his sons when this happened?  This was after Yaakov had served Laban for 14 years.  He served seven years for Leah and seven years for Rachel, then he served six years for his cattle. {Bereisheit 31.41}  This means that Reuben was no older than six years three months old when he began keeping his father's flocks with his brothers.  Reuben was born to Yaakov after Yaakov had worked for seven years.  Yaakov then worked an additional seven years.  It was during the first year of that second seven-year period that Yaakov's first wife, Leah, gave birth.  This was the birth of Reuben.  Now all the other brothers were much younger.  The second son, Shimon, was around five.  Levi, the third son, was around four.   Judah was close to three.  It was at this point that Rachel gave Bilhah to Yaakov.  So, dear reader, we see that Ha Torah establishes the age of children who worked a full day, and who were responsible to be much younger than children today.

Now this proves that the age of Rivkah, three,  when she married Yitzchok was not out of the question.  It is well within the realm of possibility!!  Yet this is why they sent Devorah, Rivkah's nurse, along with her.

Interesting letters are added to several of the words in the first Passuk / Verse.  This is not by mistake.  I have noted the letters.  The Yud represents the intensity of the struggle between Esau and Yaakov.  The Tav in Vah Yeet Roh Tzah Tzoo represents that this fighting in the womb of Rivkah was a sign.  The Tav in Vah Toh Mehr represents another sign.  Rivkah spoke out loud to her sons.  Why are you fighting?  Like a mother would say to her children, Why are you fighting / hurting your brother?  Yet this was very puzzling to Rivkah.

Our sages state that when Rivkah would pass by the doorways of Torah study at the school of Shem and Evier, Yaakov would rush to come out, and when Rivkah would pass by houses of idol worship Esau would rush to come out. Can you imagine how Rivkah must have felt?

Let's examine this a little closer. Shih Nay - Goh Yeem - Bih Veet Naych {Two nations are in your womb} Within these three words there are two unique acrostics. An acrostic is the composition in which certain letters in a line form a word or words. In the first acrostic notice the first Letter, i.e. on the right.  In the second acrostic notice the last Letter on the left.

The first acrostic is from the first letter of each of the three words below from the phrase Shih Nay - Goh Yeem - Bih Veet Naych. This is noted in the first example. The second acrostic is taken from the last letter of the last two words of the same phrase. The second acrostic follows the first as Yaakov followed Esau in birth. This acrostic is taken from the last letter of the last two words of the same phrase. I noted this by making these letters darker.  Esau was the first born.  The first acrostic refers to him.

Saw Gahv {to be high, mighty, strong, extolled, sublime}.

ש300 ג3 ב2 = 305

[Final Mem]       מ = ם  [Normal Mem]

 מך

Mawch {poor, humble}

מ40 ך20 = 60

The second acrostic describes Yaakov the second born son, the son who fled from his brother.  Yaakov was the son who for twenty years was the poor son.  From a lesson in a course {Torah 203} at B'nai Noach Torah Institute, LLC entitled Yaakov's Staff we take the following quote which discusses Yaakov's poverty: 'Our sages teach that when Yaakov fled his father Yitzchok's home, Elifaz, the son of Esau, went after him {Yaakov} and overtook him. Elifaz was ordered by his evil father Esau to murder his Uncle Yaakov. Yet Elifaz was raised by his grandfather Yitzchok. Elifaz did not want to disobey his father's order to kill his Uncle Yaakov, even though he realized it was an evil order. Elifaz recognized this responsibility to his father, yet he also recognized his responsibility to do righteousness... When he overtook his Uncle Yaakov he explained his predicament. His Uncle Yaakov helped him sort things out.

...Yaakov's counsel to his nephew was to take everything that he [Yaakov] had with him because a poor man is considered dead. So Elifaz heeded his Uncle Yaakov's counsel and took everything but Yaakov's clothes and staff.

So from the same three word phrase Shih Nay - Goh Yeem - Bih Veet Naych {Two nations are in your womb} we have the acrostic of Saw Gahv {to be high, mighty, strong, extolled, sublime} representing Esau and the acrostic of Mawch {poor, humble} representing Yaakov. The Gematria of שגב Saw Gahv is 305.  The Gematria of מך Mawch is 60.

The Gematria 305 through Mysticism describes the actions and intent of Esau in the word להרע Lih Haw Rah {to hurt, harm; to do evil} which is what Ha Torah states Esau intended to do to his brother Yaakov. Esau said in his heart, 'The days of mourning for my father are approaching. I will then kill everything from Aleph to Tav of my brother, Yaakov,'  Bereisheit 27.41.  Esau's evil intention was to make it seem as if Yaakov had never been born or existed.

להרע Lih Haw Rah {to hurt, harm; to do evil}

ל30 ה5 ר200ע70 = 305

הלכה Ha Law Chawh {law, rule, tradition}

ה5 ל30 כ20 ה5 = 60

In the Gematria 60 we see reverence for God and reverence for His Commands in Ha Torah in the word הלכה Hah Law Chawh {law, rule, tradition}. It was Yaakov who loved to study Hah Law Chawh, according to our sages. Yaakov who loved to dwell in tents of learning. Yaakov learned with Shem, the righteous son of Noach, and with Eiver, the righteous great grandson of Shem.

So among these two nations we see Esau, the high, mighty and strong one, subdued by Yaakov, the younger, the humble student of Ha Torah!

Genesis 31.1-3

And he heard everything from Aleph to Tav of the words of Laban's sons, saying, Jacob has taken away everything from Aleph to Tav of all that was our father's; and from that which was our father's has he gotten everything from Aleph to Tav of all this, the honor. And Jacob saw everything from Aleph to Tav of Laban's face, and, behold, it was not toward him as before. 3  And The Lord Said to Jacob, Return to the land of your fathers, and to your family; and I Will be with you.

Jacob actually heard Words. The Lord God can speak to you in a crowd of people and you maybe the only one to Hear His Voice and Words. On the other Hand Everyone present may hear His Voice and Words. A few select individuals may be included. However here only Jacob heard The Words of The Lord God. How do we know this? Ha Torah Says, And The Lord Said to Jacob.

One may wonder, how often does The Lord God Speak to humankind? Would you be surprised to learn that from Creation up until this conversation The Lord God is recorded as Having Spoke with only 13 humans? This is only the 36th conversation from creation until Genesis 31.3.

The Gematria of  וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָֹה אֶל־יַעֲקֹב Vah Yoh Mehr - HaShem Ehl Yaakov - Meaning And The Lord Said to Jacob. The Gematria of these four Words is 496. We can Mystically Observe that within The Lord God's Words is His Kingdom. Let's say it like this. Everything in the world and in the universe outside of The Lord God is constructed by The Word of The Lord God. Everything that exists exists because of the Power of His Word. I share this so that we may realize the ultimate power of The Lord God's Word. It is God's Word that holds every kingdom together...

The Words the ten phrases that The Lord God Spoke have maintained this universe from the beginning. Think of the power within These Words The Lord God. Think of the keeping power... Think of maintaining power of The Lord God's Words...

Vah Yoh Mehr - HaShem - Ehl - Yaakov

And The Lord Said to Jacob

ו6 י10 א1 מ40 ר200 י10 ה5 ו6 ה5 א1 ל30 י10 ע70 ק100 ב2 = 496

Mah Lih Choo Toh

Kingdom

מ40 ל30 צ20 ת400 ו6 = 496

We should think of The Lord's Kingdom with the same reflection. Ever since The Lord God Created everything from Aleph to Tav of the Heavens and everything from Aleph to Tav of the earth they were completed. Nothing remains to be completed. Nothing more remains to be done. This is the power of The Lord God's Word... So now we think about what it means for the Lord God to Speak to one of us as He did with Jacob. We reflect on that contact with The Lord God. Can we imagine the impact? Can we imagine the reslut of having Contact with The Lord God?

Raw Baw Emunah Teh Kaw - Great Is Your Faithfulness [Oh God]

In this short 4 minute video we learn a Negin and a few comments about Our Creator's Faithfulness. The first prayer in the morning before anything else  a Jewish man says Moh Deh Anh Nee  מודה אני  This prayer is just 12 Words. The last two Words reading from the right to left are - רבה אמונתך, meaning our Creator faithfulness to us is great. This Negin / song / tune is just two Words. One can be walking down the street or riding a bike or driving a car and light up with this tune.

When one is down and out and feels like no one cares and all is lost and there is no hope there is Raw Baw Emunah Teh Kaw, i.e God's very very great faithfulness to us. This negin reminds us that we are not alone in our poverty our struggles our seemly hopeless situation. Nothing can exceed God's Faithfulness to us.

Psalms 117

O Praise the Lord, all you nations; praise him, all you peoples. 2  For his loving kindness is great toward us; and the truth of the Lord endures for ever. Hallelujah!

The World as know before the Noach Flood was about to change drastically. The Lord God Selected eight individuals from among millions to replenish humankind on earth.  Can we imagine what it was like for Noach and His Wife, sons and daughter-in-laws?  The entire world... all other humans had become corrupt... evil... violent... They rejected our Creators directives. They did what they choose. They were very evil...  I cannot imagine how unruly it was. I cannot imagine how humankind could be so very evil and corrupt.  They were so evil they had to be destroyed. There were so rotten they would perish when the entire earth was flooded.

Yet, we know that 'Noach did all that the Lord Commanded him.' Noach and his wife, his sons and his daughter-in-laws were different!! They did not live like the other people in the world. They were different. They lived righteously in the face of evil everyday. They remained separated from the world. They were Obedient to the Observances given to them by the Lord God. They did not allow the evil in the world to influence them to sin or do evil. They proclaimed righteousness and obedience in the face of much violence and evil. The faced combative destructive forces and yet remained honest, righteous, pure, holy and faithful to The Lord God and each other.

In our world so many different thoughts... doctrines... religious beliefs exist. Originally the world was in agreement in their beliefs. How is it so many differences exist?

This reminds me of king David spoke of his wondering and of his tears in Psalms 56.9.  He Said,  You have kept count of my wanderings; put my tears into your bottle. Are they not in your book? In Genesis 7.5 we are reminded of our Creator's accounting... of His Book.

Genesis 9.8 - 19

And God spoke to Noah, and to his sons with him, saying, 9  And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you; 10  And with every living creature that is with you, of the bird, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to every beast of the earth. 11  And I will establish my covenant with you; nor shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; nor shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth. 12  And God said, This is the sign of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for everlasting generations; 13  I set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a sign of a covenant between me and the earth. 14  And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud; 15  And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. 16  And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. 17  And God said to Noah, This is the sign of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth. 18  And the sons of Noah, who went out of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth; and Ham is the father of Canaan. 19  These are the three sons of Noah; and from them was the whole earth peopled.

After the world was destroyed and was renewed with life The Lord God established His Covenant.

Eesh Man / Husband

א1 י10 ש 300 = 311

Eesh Shawh Woman / Wife

א1 ש300 ה5 = 306

617 = 311 + 306

Mystically we observe that the Covenant is with man / woman. The covenant is with the man and woman that observes the Mitzvot of Ha Torah. This means the man, i.e. the husband and the woman, i.e. the wife have a correct relationship with their unified covenant with The Lord God.

Psalms 117

O Praise the Lord, all you nations; praise him, all you peoples. 2  For his loving kindness is great toward us; and the truth of the Lord endures for ever. Hallelujah!
